We had an excellent service experience with Tim’s for our old gal, a 2004 Toyota Sienna. Not only did they find the current issue with the vehicle, through the diagnostic they gave us a thorough survey of our old gal’s needs with photos! For a visual learner like me, that was the bees’ knees. Turns out the parts needed for the immediate ABS repair aren’t produced anymore and Tim’s was honest that if they sent out and had the part built, it would take a couple of weeks AND there was no guarantee that it would hold up. Thats the kind of info that is worth every penny! Thanks Brian and Nick. Now we have solid information to make a decision about whether we put the Toyota out to pasture after 22 years of solid service or keep her going. Whatever the case, Tim’s is our spot for our car needs from now on. P.s. Y’all gotta see the Tim’s Ford truck when you visit. It’s an awesome blast from the past.

Simply the best car service specialists in the city! I first learned of this business when i sent my partner to them to get her car fixed. When i brought the car Nick, one of the co-owners, rode with me first to assess my car issue. We chatted and he shared some of the history of this New Orleans family owned business. One of the aspects of this city that I love the most is the number of excellent home grown family run businesses and Tim's is included in that group. I informed Nick that i would be traveling for work so I would need to leave the car with them. While my car was in their hands he ran a front to rear comprehensive exam of my vehicle and then proceeded to send a detailed point by point analysis, with pictures might i add, that laid out in clear detail what needed to be fixed at the moment and what could wait. I have never seen a more thorough car service business in all the years that I've had my vehicles serviced. My car is on the older side so we decided to fix the issues most pertinent to my current problem and extend the life of the vehicle as best we can for the short term. Nick was professional and attentive to how much this vehicle, a gift of my late father, means to me. The price for the services I received was reasonable and my vehicle is back in business. If you truly want world class service with that New Orleans touch, no chain restaurant fare, that is immaculate and conscientious then do yourself a favor and come to Tim's.

I've dropped off friends here for years to pick up their vehicles after getting serviced. They have all raved about Tim's. I was in the market for a used car and took one for an inspection. Tim was extremely knowledgeable and gave me good, solid info including some recommendations on makes and models he would recommend more. I passed on that car and found one of their recommendations a few weeks later. Nick walked me thru the CarFax history and let me know what he was thinking. Within the day I had the inspection results, maintenance completed and a plan for some future repairs. Buying a used vehicle is so stressful. The inspection was the last piece. Nick was excited for me and I really appreciated that. They are a company that wants you as a customer for the long haul, not just one little service. You definitely leave feeling taken care of. Won't go anywhere else and I'll try to convince everyone Tim's is where they need to go. 🩵

The hype is true people! I have been to many shops around the city and always felt like I was getting ripped off or couldn’t trust what they told me. The team at Tim’s immediately put me at ease and took the time to answer my questions and explain the work to me. They went above and beyond to find a creative fix to a problem with the oil drain plug instead of just telling me we ‘had’ to replace the entire oil pan and charging me a ton extra. The free shuttle service to work was so helpful after days of finding rides or paying for Lyfts. They were very thorough with their inspection and I got to see before and after pictures of the service and replacements. And when I picked my car up, Brian took the time to walk me through my car’s warranty from the dealership so I could feel empowered talking to the dealership in the future if need be. More expensive in general than your quick oil change place obviously, but you definitely get what you pay for in service and trustworthiness. Happy to return to Tim’s next time my car acts up!!
