Store was neat and clean however I was disappointed in the turkey wings I purchased they were cut up terribly . As if no care time or attention to detail went into the process if cutting up the wings , numerous large visible feathers ! Large areas of clotted blood vessels! Excessive fat and areas that simply needed extreme cleaning and trimming. It’s like leftover turkeys from the store from thanksgiving we’re carelessly cut up to sale to customers to make a quick buck , not cool and not high quality please do better on these products or simply do not sale them as the quality was poor overall

I only have HEB and Walmart in my area. I'm a dedicated HEB shopper but it's nice to visit other stores. I was visiting family when we went to Tom Thumb. I liked the variety and the sales were surprising. I should've brought an ice chest so I could take some meat home lol. Will definitely be back.

Worst service ever with the pick up orders. Is has been twice since I got a “glitch “ in their system and they are not able to complete my order. Then I go back to get my items - guess what now none of the coupons work and now I’m paying more for the items. The most frustrating part is that no one seems to know what’s going on and ignoring the situation while they are called “managers” “supervisors” but have no problem solving skills. Very disappointing store, I have been a customer for years in different part of the city but this store is the worst. This will be my last order here.

I visited the store a couple of times recently, as the store is convenient. Tonight, I stopped by to pick up some baking pumpkins. There were a lot of pumpkins that were shriveled or moldy and should’ve been thrown away last week. When I got to the self checkout register, the pumpkins didn’t ring up as expected. This was about 5 minutes before the store closed and instead of the attendant apologizing and offering to adjust the price (the adjustment would’ve been about $1 or less), she proceeds to tell me that I picked up the wrong pumpkins and offered to walk me to where the pumpkins that were being sold for the price I mentioned, which didn’t even seem to be in the same area. The price was clearly posted and the shipping container included dozens of the same pumpkins I selected, but were apparently put in the wrong place. Extremely poor customer service, especially for a grocer that seems to sell the same items that other grocers sell for 2, 3 or even 4 dollars. Last week, I picked up some donut holes and they were stale. It seems like with Tom Thumb’s inflated prices and many people struggling to afford groceries, the items in the store aren’t selling through as fast as they used to. I’ll definitely consider shopping elsewhere whenever possible to avoid experiences like the one I had tonight.

I went into this location after having bought a floral bouquet and being very satisfied previously. However, this time I was very disappointed with both the service & item. I paid $46.54 for the flowers (16.99+7.99) plus the design fee(20). I waited for 10 minutes to be seen by the additional attendant that seemed inexperienced in design. Which should not have been billed if that is the case. This was just tasteless work. No heads up was communicated of the lack of knowledge in this area for me to make a better judgement. I didn’t even bother with gifting it, I was embarrassed BUT the store got paid.
