Sign in to reviewThis is my favorite place to go with my family. Been going there for about 8 years or so. Lately these past few times I’ve been there, I feel like the customer service from the workers have declined. I haven’t seen some of the usual OG workers lately which is odd. They were the ones always on-top of everything. Now I feel like you gotta really try and get their attention when you need something on your table. A lot of younger workers too. Most of the time the ladies in the front are just chit chatting that they forget they have customers. New hirees also have a face all the time. Customer service has really gone down at Torung.
I've been eating at Torung for 36+ years and the food has been consistently delicious over all these years!! 🥰🥰🥰 I love Torung Thai food restaurant and the servers are very sweet, too. A few of the same servers a chefs are still there🤩 PS. This dining establishment is CASH ONLY.
Excellent Thai food at very good prices. 10/17/22: Had the fried fish with chili garlic sauce. Was perfectly fried and the sauce had a great fresh flavor. 10/20/22: Had the War soup which is a Thai Chinese soup. Great flavor especially when you add some of their vinegary hot sauce. I like that they serve it in a special bowl with a fire to keep it hot. Fried banana was very good too. 3/9/23: Had the Tom Kha with chicken, medium spiciness. Was good but they only put chicken, lemongrass, basil and green chilies. Would be nice if they put some vegetables in there. 2/10/25: Had the Yellow Crab Curry (excellent) and the pad Thai (decent but a bit too sweet)
Torung is amazing, and will always hold a sentimental place in my heart. I’ve been going there for 12 years now and the quality has always been consistent! The customer service is great and they treat you like you’re just right at home ! If you’re ever looking to try some Thai food Torung is the place to go! If you’re not sure what to order there,I love all the food but some of my favorites that you should try are, Tum Kao soup , pad Thai , pineapple fried rice , chicken satay, green curry, white rice, beef and broccoli and Thai iced tea.
Update May 2025. Kai Kua Flat noodles with chicken and Green onions was very tasty. Excellent Thai food at very reasonable prices. Service was personable and food was delivered fast. Had the Soup and Crab Fried rice. Crispy and tasty. Parking is difficult to find nearby.
