Whoever helped me tonight about 4 registers in from the left if you’re facing the store from parking lot. She is dark haired, not young but not old. I didn’t get name, but she checked me out. I ALWAYS HAND THE CASHIERS ONE ITEM AT A TIME CAUSE I BUDGET AND IM NOT SURE ABOUT EVERYTHING I PUT IN CART. 92% of crew members or mates have been ok with that and are accommodating… anyways, she just had weird vibes and I knew for sure when I noticed the new square bag on way out and patiently waited until she was done ringing person behind me then I asked if she can ring it out real quick. She said after the customer who had a full cart. I should’ve known she was gonna be weird like that. I then realized I had ice cream so I couldn’t do that. I’ve done this plenty of times when I forget a water bottle or a bag I like and they’re always like “ya” since it’s super quick. She was definitely gossip about me once I went to a shorter line cause she and that customer.. both of them being the same and me not… how I knew was, I saw them looking over at me and talking. I for sure felt judged. She has that nasty trait where she can’t hide when she is judging. Lady, it’s Trader Joe’s. This grocery store isn’t just a regular Vons or fish market or stater bros. It’s a vibe. One where ALL crew members and mates and sometimes the captain show happiness and caring and accepting vibes. Personalities need to be naturally inviting. She isn’t a good fit for Trader Joe’s. Higher standards are held here imo. It’s not a crappy stater bro where looking miserable is justified. Anyways, a customer let me go in front of him when I asked, as I had ONE item and I put not much but $5 down to buy something in his cart as I left. He was so chill. He didn’t need the 5 bucks, I’m sure but it was my gesture cause he was nice. That crew member should be nicer.
I was having a hard time in the store finding something and also trying to train my service dog. I was very overwhelmed and a very sweet blonde girl who's name I didn't get found the cheese and brought it across the store to me. Amazing service.
This was a huge Trader Joe's and they were in a restocking frenzy. I found everything I was looking for plus the usual 200% more as well as the fantastic crew!!
I had a list from my girl and a employee named Rob helped me find every item . Saved me a hour . Thanks dude 10/10 would recommend to a freind
