Tranquility Spa

This was not a good experience. I came here on a whim instead of my usual place since I moved to the area. The reviews seemed good, so I scheduled. I got there, and everyone seemed super nice. They confirmed what I would like and the pressure, then left me to prepare. When my masseuse arrived, she said "You're not here for pain? Just relaxing? Soft pressure?" to which I confirmed. I've got pretty bad back pain when pressure is used so I don't get massages for Deep Tissue or pain management - I get them to spoil myself and relax. It was a horrible massage. Honestly, I'm not sure she is actually a trained/licensed masseuse. What I got was the equivalent of when a child wants to give a massage and they just quickly rub your back and shoulders. Her movements were quick, jerky, with no organization to her methods. It's almost like, because I didn't want deep tissue or pain management, I wasn't worth an actual massage? I don't know. She also left the door partly open so I could hear EVERYTHING happening throughout the building. There was a lot of downtime within my hour where I wasn't being touched at all. There was a sink in the room which was turned on a couple of times at full blast, so not only did I not get a relaxing massage, I also didn't get any kind of relaxing space. This was a waste of money and I just... can't move past how disappointing of an experience this was...

My first experience at this amazi g spa. The staff and atmosphere was amazing. "Any" was my Therapist and she was beyond exceptional. She was instinctive and thorough in working every muscle into relaxation, and being quite tense person, myself , her techniques were notably very strong and show great experience. For a first experience, i will be a routine custimer. The entire experience far exceeded my expectations.

This was the best massage I have ever had! I was so surprised as I have had several massages but not quite like this one! I asked for the deep tissue massage which I typically don’t get because it hurts my body but not at this place. I had so much energy afterward and my digestive system reacted after the massage was over. :) I will go back and become a regular. I was shocked and so I came home to do some research to compare Asian massages to Western massages and let’s just say I like the way my body responds to the Asian massage. To sum it up, Asian massages focus more on your nervous system and stretching whereas Western focuses on the knots and muscles. To each their own and not trying to convince anyone. I’m simply sharing my experience.

Nancy did an amazing massage today. Before she began the massage she asked what type of pressure I wanted, if I liked hot stones, if I was cold and needed a blanket. She hit all the pressure points and was very skilled. So relaxing, I fell asleep during the massage. I’m asking for her again.
