The absolute hands down BEST place for Puerto Rican food in the area! From the moment you walk in, you’re treated like family! Very attentive and we were checked on many times to make sure we were taken care of. We started the night with a passion fruit mojito, that was highly recommended by Tony and some delicious appetizer’s. The mojito was perfect, and not too sweet! We had the absolute perfect tostones that melt in your mouth that tasted just like my mom used to make, to the perfect corned beef alcapurria’s that were full of flavor, to trying the pasteles next that were made to perfection, which on a side note, you can buy a dozen pasteles to take home. For our main dishes, we chose the skirt steak with arroz con gandules and pernil. Both dishes were made to perfection and melted in your mouth. You could see that the food is made with love and bursting with flavor just like you get from mom or abuelita’s house on the island. We ended the night with a flan de queso with a caramel sauce and OMG, it was one of the best flan’s we’ve tasted in a long time! Best texture and flavor! We left so impressed with not only the food, but the superior service and can’t wait to go back when we’re in town again! Thank you guys for making our evening memorable and our experience worth sharing!
Omg the most amazing alcapurias. Sorullitos and let’s not forget the bacalaitos. They also have limber . The owner was very attentive and a really nice person. I will be coming back everytime I miss my puerotican food.
Tony treated us like family. The food was so amazing that I thought my grandma was in the kitchen cooking. The porkchop dinner was delicious. Cooked to perfection. The pork pasteles were also incredible. Then the arroz con gandules tasted like we were actually in Puerto Rico at my aunts house. And finally the lemonade was the best we had in years.
Came here during a vacation to see a band on tour and had the best time!! The food was astronomically good and delicious and our server was so wonderfully sweet and fun! 10/10 Experience!!!
Food has great flavor and we didn’t have to really wait long for the alcapurrias or our food to come out. Pleased with everything we ate! Great place to catch a quick satisfying bite to eat if you want a taste of Puerto Rican food.
