Tribeca Seminole Heights is fabulous. I’ve had two stylists there—I only went from one to the other after my first stylist transitioned into another career and had more limited availability for hair appointments, not because of a single complaint about the work. They do an incredible job with cut/style and color, and I can’t tell you how many compliments I get on my hair even months after a visit. I have long hair and I can get busy and be bad about staying timely with cuts, but their work allows my cut and color to age gracefully and naturally. All credit to the incredibly talented team at Tribeca, I can’t recommend them enough.

I’m super disappointed with the customer service I received. I came in to get a cut and color and spent 500 dollars and felt like the color I got on my hair was not what I asked for and didn’t match the photos I used for reference. My stylist was absolutely wonderful and did a lovely job with the cut I think there was just a miscommunication. Stuff happens, no big deal! I called the salon and informed them I was not satisfied and wanted to come in and try to rework what I got. The salon has a 2 week policy that says you can reschedule with your original stylist to rework your hair or schedule with another stylist and pay the difference in their rates. I opted to pay the difference with someone. When I came in to the store they reiterated that I would either not have to pay or pay the difference and I consented to either option. The stylist started doing my hair and then informed me after telling her boss what I wanted to done that I wouldn’t have to pay anything. I mentioned I was totally fine paying a difference! We then got more than half way through the appointment and my stylist informed me that the manager decided it would actually be a fully paid service, so I paid another 300 dollars. I would not have consented to them redoing my hair if that was how much they originally had decided on. I have been a client at Tribeca for many years and invested a lot of money in getting my hair done with them. I will not be going back there again. That was an extremely upsetting and disappointing way my situation was handled.
