Trophy Nail Salon

Let me start off by saying every employee was very sweet and respectful. The establishment was clean and orderly, they had a wide selection of colors, the chairs were exceptionally comfortable, and they offered refreshments. Unfortunately, that’s pretty much all the pros. The nail’s themselves were mediocre at best. There were bubbles and hair cured in, the polish ran up on my cuticles, the edges were ruff on some nails, and when taking off my acrylics, they were quite aggressive. All that being said, I would have given three stars, had basic gel nails not been 55 dollars. So to summarize, this salon has lots of potential, great atmosphere and customer service, but from my experience, a lack of quality in nails. I’d love to try again in a couple of months to see if they’re worth the higher price tag!

Came in for the first time as a walk-in and was seated very quickly. All staff was very kind and answered all of my questions. Andy did my nails and they came out BEAUTIFUL! He was so nice and quick! I expected to be in the chair longer!

By far, one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a nail salon. I needed to get my nails done last minute and went here because of proximity. Once I got there they sat me down and one of ladies (who I thought was going to do my nails) began by soaking my nails with cotton and wrapping them up in foil. Tons of acetone begins dripping down my hands. She proceeds to cover my hands with plastic gloves, and leaves me there for over 10 mins. Comes back and notices my gel X nails are still on (she didn’t file them prior)… proceeds to file them with the wrong insert. I was trying to trust her process, but I knew something was wrong. Then wraps my hands a second time with more acetone and gloves. After ONE hour of soaking and filing, another guy comes and she says something along the lines of “oh the one that knows is here!”. At this point I was too tired to say anything, I just wanted my nails to be done to leave. He then spends another 1.5 hours doing my gel X nails. I finally paid and left. The next morning I wake up, and one of my nails had fallen off and I had a skin reaction on my hand from where the acetone and glove stuck together. Gel X nails are not supposed to fall off… that’s why I get them. I am so mad and disappointed at this point. I stopped by after work again and spoke to the owner. Showed her my rash and my nail. I ask for a refund and she said they don’t do refunds, then stops me half sentence to answer a call. Then offers to fix it for me, and I tell her I just want them off. The guy who did them the night before comes and begins to apologize endlessly, and convinces me of just fixing the one nail. Two days later another nail comes off! Now my nails are damaged from all filing and they keep falling off. I am never returning here. Now I have to go spend another $70 somewhere else to fix what they did. They should not offer a service their technicians are not able to do correctly.

Petra is my nail tech. She is so amazing, the best I was lucky to find! For the first time in the many years of having my nails done I make an appointment with Petra only. She does my nails so perfectly at every appointment! She definitely gets 5 stars!

Everything was just perfect in my experience at Trophy salon! Katie was EXTREMELY professional and very experienced - as well as lovely & a delight to chat with. She advised, informed & educated me about acrylic nails for which my nails will be forever in a much healthier & stronger condition!! Eric the manager was very friendly, warm & welcoming. I enjoyed a couple of glasses of champagne and they even charged my phone! Couldn’t have been a better experience and my nails are just absolutely gorgeous!!!
