About

Tsaocaa is listed on FindALoco in Philadelphia, PA with address, phone, website, hours, and map location. Common services and related keywords include Tea House.

Tsaocaa is a tea house at 1715 Chestnut St, Philadelphia, PA 19103, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It is an option for people looking for boba or tea in the city, especially later in the evening: the listed hours are 5:00 p.m. to 1:45 a.m. every day of the week. That schedule can suit a late-night drink stop or a meet-up with a friend after other plans. If you are making a special trip, check the current hours before heading over, since business hours can change. The address gives you a clear place to find the shop, while customer comments offer a useful, mixed picture of what different visits have been like.

One drink specifically praised by a customer is the super fruit green tea, described as a refreshing choice on a hot day. Taro tea also received a positive mention in a review, and another customer appreciated the variety of boba options. These comments suggest that Tsaocaa may appeal to visitors who want to browse a range of tea drinks rather than choose from only one highlighted flavor. The reviews do not provide a complete menu or details about sweetness, toppings, or customization, so it is best not to assume that a particular ingredient or preparation is available. If you have a preferred flavor or dietary requirement, asking the staff about the current options is a sensible step.

Feedback is notably varied, so expectations matter. Some reviewers describe finding a drink they enjoyed, while others report unpleasant flavors or concerns about milk quality in particular drinks. Strawberry and mango milk tea were criticized in separate comments, whereas the taro drink and super fruit green tea were described more favorably. One customer also recounted asking about an exchange after being dissatisfied with a drink; the available review excerpt does not provide enough detail to characterize how that interaction ended. With a listed rating of 3.5 from 48 reviews, Tsaocaa has a mixed overall record rather than uniformly positive feedback. Recent experiences and drink quality may differ, so consider the range of comments when deciding what to order.

For Philadelphia residents, students, workers, or visitors who want boba during evening hours, Tsaocaa’s late schedule is a practical point to consider. It may work for a casual stop with a friend, a refreshing tea on a warm night, or a chance to try a flavor that catches your interest. The customer comments point to variety and late availability as benefits, but they also make clear that not every drink has pleased every visitor. A measured approach is best: review the current menu and hours, ask about ingredients if needed, and choose based on your own preferences. Tsaocaa is a local Philadelphia tea house with both favorable recommendations and critical feedback worth weighing.

Stumbled upon this place and the tea here is great! I would recommend the super fruit green tea here, it’s a great refresher on a hot day.

Went in late tonight to get boba with a friend , mine was taro and tasted fine , theirs however , the strawberry, tasted like licking the inside of a shampoo container , it was truly repugnant and inedible . I kindly asked the woman working the counter if she could exchange her tea for the same flavor I got. She said they “don’t do that”. We then watched her pour our $8 boba down the drain and refuse to give us another one without buying it. The weirdest part was she just turned around and pretended to be working , ignoring us until we left when I tried to ask for an explanation .Incredibly rude and unprofessional behavior. This wasn’t a case of not liking the flavor or not knowing what we ordered they had served us something someone stranded in the desert dying of dehydration would’ve turned their nose up at . 1/10
