Bingsu is a popular choice among visitors, with flavors such as ube, matcha, strawberry, and mango mentioned in customer reviews. Reviews describe the shaved ice as light and praise its sweetened milk texture. A vegan shaved-ice option is also available, served with coconut milk, according to one customer. Guests have paired bingsu with homemade ice cream scoops, while others have chosen vanilla ice cream with strawberries and Nutella. Since portions, toppings, and preferences vary, checking the menu in person can help you choose the treat that suits your appetite.

For something with a fun shape, customers have also enjoyed taiyaki, a fish-shaped dessert with custard filling. One family paired Nutella taiyaki with bingsu and ice cream, and the children were happy with their choices. That mix of options makes Tsuki suitable for a family visit, a treat with friends, or a relaxed stop after exploring the neighborhood. The cat-inspired setting adds a distinctive touch, while the menu offers several ways to enjoy a cold, creamy dessert or a filled pastry.

Plan for possible waits: one reviewer reported waiting more than 30 minutes for bingsu, and another noted that the interior felt hot during their visit. Feedback about value and toppings is mixed as well, so expectations may differ depending on the flavor and order. Tsuki is open Monday through Thursday from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday through Sunday from noon to 10 p.m. If you are searching for a Portland dessert shop with bingsu, taiyaki, and a welcoming cat theme, Tsuki offers a distinctive choice on Hawthorne Boulevard.

Took my mom and daughter with me since the place is cat themed and they love cats. The impression with omg cute and clean with friendly service. We ordered a large half strawberry and half mango dessert. Also tried a custard filled desert that looks like a cute fish. The ice cream desert is light and perfectly sweet. If you love very sweet rich stuff then this wont be for you. Would definitely come back again.

My husband and I love the bingsu from this dessert shop so much, we had to bring our daughter and son-in-law to experience it too. We tried the ube and matcha bingsu. Both were excellent. I especially loved the sweentened milk texture. The homemade ice cream scoops were delightful and tasty. The presentation of the bingsu were amazing. I understand that it takes a long time to make one bingsu. There were only two workers on staff that Sunday afternoon. Both of them were making our bingsu dessert. The matcha bingsu was done way earlier. They left the matcha bingsu on the counter and waited until both bingsu dessert were made before calling the number. I wish they had called us earlier for the matcha bingsu. It was melting a little by the time we got called. But overall both of the bingsu desserts were so good. We all enjoyed them. The staff were very nice. We will definitely go back again. I may try the mango bingsu next time. Older review I have finally found the best bingsu joint! I had to try the ube bingsu because of the ube ice cream. They claimed they make ube ice cream in-house. They also claim that they make matcha ice cream in-house, I will have to try it next time. I ordered a large ube bingsu to share with my husband. First of all, the presentation of the bingsu was perfect. We figured that the whole bingsu measured to about the size of my husband's hand! As I was taking the bingsu to my table, I was worried that the ice cream would tumble to the floor. It was like an art. I absolutely love the presentation! The ube ice cream scoop was huge. Sitting on top of the perfectly sculpted shaved milk, it was almost too gorgeous to eat. The shaved milk was the correct texture. It came with a ribbon of red bean along the edge of the bowl. I was impressed that the shaved milk was built to the edge of the bowl. The bowl was nicely chilled and was quite deep. I think a large could easily serve 3 people but 2 people was just right for my serving :) There was also red bean around the ice cream. The bingsu also had some shredded coconut, sliced almonds and some sprinkle of ube dust. It was so perfect that I will be using my picture as my wallpaper on my cell :) The best thing about bingsu is that I don't have guilt after eating it. It is just like having a large glass of cold milk with red beans. I think if they also come with some mochi pieces, then it would have been 100% perfect.

The mango bingsu is completely a joke. The regular size is exceptionally pricey -14$ and it does not even have enough mangoes in it. In the photo it looks like the bottom part will have enough mango pieces but it's just a very thin layer of smashed mango slices, and inside it there is a whole vanilla flavored shaved ice. The vanilla Ice cream on top feels like the Costco's Kirkland vanilla ice cream, it's not even their in house made ice cream. Total waste of money.

Had the ube bingsu with vegan shave ice and it was incredible!! (Vegan shave ice comes with coconut milk.) One of my kids got the strawberry bingsu and the other got vanilla ice cream w/ strawberries and Nutella taiyaki. Both kids were very happy with their choices too. If you get a bingsu and just want a little snack, get the mini; the regular is enormous! Will definitely return and maybe have to try one of their savory taiyaki.

Very long wait. The dessert is good but took over 30 mins to get our bingsu order. The inside is also very hot so just be prepared. But the dessert is worth the wait
