I do not recommend going here — changing price transparency mid appointment, injuries, little cleanliness, unprofessionalism. I’m really sad to say this because I walked in very excited and hopeful, they had a ton of fun looking nail accessories and I thought maybe this would be my favorite salon, especially given the “affordable” prices they had listed (note, they were not affordable at the end). I went in to get acrylic French tips & had shown the technician a reference photo. Not only had she clipped my cuticles down to the nub, to the point I was dripping blood off my thumb (a photo of after she wiped it with a table cloth), she started giving my clear gel on my natural nails. When I had asked her if she was going to do acrylics that I showed and asked for and snapped at me & started talking in another language I couldn’t understand but the tone and body language I absolutely understood. Another technician took over but was filing my nails so aggressively and for over I’d say 30 minutes. Eventually, all my nails had bled and instead of stopping or apologizing she shifted the blame to me, the customer, and told me “next time don’t cut your cuticles so short” about 8 times throughout the process. Bear in mind, this has never happened in the past 20 years I’ve been getting my nails done. And to note, I had been traveling for a few weeks so I went with natural nails for that time so I explained to her (8 times) that I hadn’t touched my cuticles and that it was her colleague who cut them. It got to the point where I was noticeably bleeding on every finger to the point where the prolonged filing and pain had gotten too much where I had began to tear up. I had asked her to stop and that the filing she had done was fine by me and that I’d rather she just get to painting but she continued ignore me. It was when she noticed I was crying that she stopped. The entire time she kept telling me to relax but did nothing to stop the things she was doing to cause the pain. Not to mention, I had asked for medium nails and she gave me long and later mentioned an additional charge for long nails once it was too late to shorten them to the actual size I wanted and asked for. It also took so long to get them done because there where issues with the tools they were using, they either would break mid use or be expired and she’d have to leave to go get more multiple times. At that point she had told me that given the situation she’d only charge me $20. When I thought she was making up for the negative experience, I had put it in the past and decided not to leave the review I’m leaving because I truly thought I was finally seeing professionalism and amends for their shortcomings. But when I got to the register she charged me $80 including an additional charge for her colleague that tore my cuticles up and snapped at me. She then asked me, “are these the best nails you’ve had? Is this the best salon you’ve been to yet?” And I lied and said yes because I was deeply uncomfortable by the lack of professionalism, health & safety, price transparency, and care. Note the last photo, those cuts aren’t even near my cuticles. Needless to say, I will not be going back to Twin Nails or the technician again. I’m also nervous that I might get an infection not only from the deep cuts (one pictured above) but also lack of cleanliness I saw. They also only accept cash tips, which is fine, but have a section on the receipt for tips which felt off to me so I “x’ed” it out given the multiple instances of lack of price transparency and changes + surprise charges.

I want to start off by saying the price with super affordable I got my feet done and my nails matching together I got my eyebrows done and I got my eyelashes done you know the cheaper kind but it was so super affordable for my hands feet eyelashes and eyebrows I paid like $200 and something dollars parking was horrible but I think it's worth it that you get what you asked for and the price is super affordable so you can't beat it and that there was really nice and they worked really fast which was super awesome I have a really hard time sitting for long periods of time and everyone loved my nose so I will be going back again

Had the worst experience getting my nails done. I have come here multiple times and honestly have had an okay experience but today was horrible. It will probably be the last time I go there. The person doing my nails kept falling asleep then blaming me for why my nails looked bad claiming I “took them out too soon”.
