I was referred to Dr. Karim by my PCP and had a great experience. He was very considerate, knowledgeable, and reassuring. I appreciated the time he took to explain the biopsy process and the specific tests he would be running. He was also shocked when I shared that the only other time I'd had stitches had been without any numbing. When he started on stitches in my leg, I felt a very faint poke and said "ouch" out of habit, and his head shot up immediately. "You felt that??" He was very adamant that they don't ever want their patients feeling any pain. He called after the appointment to follow up with me and checked in to make sure I was doing all right (I'd gotten a bit woozy after the stitches were done). Very appreciative of Dr. Karim's knowledge and consideration.

Dr. Valerie Truong is, without question, one of the finest physicians I have had the pleasure of meeting. From the moment she walked into the room, she was warm, engaging, and genuinely interested in my concerns. She took the time to explain everything thoroughly, answered every question with patience, and never made me feel rushed. Her professionalism, knowledge, and attention to detail are exceptional. It’s easy to see why she is so highly regarded. She combines outstanding medical expertise with a compassionate bedside manner that immediately puts you at ease. If you’re looking for a dermatologist who is knowledgeable, caring, and truly committed to providing exceptional patient care, I give Dr. Valerie Truong my highest recommendation. She has earned every one of these five stars!

This organization has the worst administrative issues. After visiting last year with my son, I didn't anticipate my bill being $900. I went out of town and when I came back, I set up payment so there was about a month delay in paying. On their site it has an option to pay overtime. I opted for this since my HSA was low. They took payment out that day. Then a few months later I started getting calls that my account is in collections even though payments from their practice were being drafted. I thought it was a scam at first. I spoke with Billing who was unaware you could set up on a payment plan hence why she sent me to collections. This was the main billing person, and she was rude and on a second call she hung up on me. I asked for a detailed bill from the collections person and the main billing person and NEVER received it even though I called multiple times. Because both the office and collector had completely different amounts owed. I wasn't going to pay the total that collections had since my payments were still drafting from the US Derm payment site. This situation has been ongoing for months. I live near the office, and someone could have called before sending this to collections. NEVER have I had bills go to collections. I then get a check 2 weeks ago from US Derm Partners refunding money only to have the collections agency tell me I owe close to that amount to settle the bill. Not sure if it is final since my draft could come out in Aug. It was unnecessary. First- let your patience know the cost of treatments since this is dermatology and second be a good neighbor and have the billing office text or call about payments before resorting to calling collections and also train your staff to call patients back to resolve these issues and don’t hang up on people. Not ever going back or recommending to anyone.

Dr Rubin is thorough, knowledgable, and communicates his findings in a clear manner. Kristi who works with him is excellent, too. The person at the front desk (wish I'd asked her name) was especially helpful when I arrived for my first visit.

Dr Rubin had me at hello. So kind, caring, compassionate, gentle and thorough. He answered my questions and heard my concerns. He is incredible. The lovely lady who assisted was wonderful also, forgive me for not getting her name right (Elise?) Thank you both for such great care!!
