Good spot for quick bites and freshly packed meals. Stopped by a few times for breakfast and lunch, and my favorite item here is the small rice bowl topped with chopped Chinese sausage or chicken. It’s under $5 (technically $3.50 on the menu, but I always get charged $5 as a “custom item,” which seems to be the norm at spots like this). Either way, it’s filling and simple, especially if you catch it around opening time when the rice is still warm. The other rice plates I’ve tried were decent. With places like this, the difference usually isn’t in the technique. Portions are fair, and everything tastes freshly made. Just note that it can take around 15–20 minutes for orders to be ready, so I’d recommend ordering in advance. As far as I know, there aren’t many casual Vietnamese takeout spots like this south of here (at least not within a 30-minute drive). So if you don’t feel like heading all the way up to Little Saigon in Dorchester, this place might be a good alternative.

Delicious, flavoursome, fresh food with very clean taste, everything cooked to perfection. Premade deserts (not too sweet) and pre-wrapped foods were very good too and cheap. I highly recommend fish cake noodles and chicken sticky rice!!!! Wait was a bit long but well worth it! :)

Roast pork banh mi $7.50+ tax was amazing. I had the chicken a few times before and also very good, but the chicken was a little cold. But the roast pork is one of the best I’ve ever had. Fresh bread that is warm. Crisp veggies. Pork wasn’t fatty like it can be “at the place up the road.” They aren’t skimpy with sauce & pâté. Great hours too! Small seating area. To-go staples that you see at Banh mi shops by counter. Vermicelli soup looked good too. I also got a Viet iced coffee and it was sweet, but not sickly sweet like some places. Linda Banh Mi is my current leader for best in Boston metro area and I’ve tried a lot of them.

- Bánh Mì Bò Nướng ($8): This tasted good overall. The price is comparable to that of other places, and they did not skimp on the fillings. The bread did not taste as fresh as I would have liked, but I do believe this was partially due to …

Had a wonderful breakfast at Ut Banh Mi this morning! My son and I ordered the chicken rice plate, and it was absolutely delicious. The chicken was crispy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, paired with fresh vegetables, pickled veggies, and fluffy rice. The dipping sauce brought everything together perfectly. Most importantly, my son loved it so much and finished every bite, which is always the best compliment! The food was fresh, the portions were generous, and the service was friendly. We’ll definitely be coming back to try more items on the menu. Highly recommend Ut Banh Mi for anyone looking for authentic and tasty Vietnamese food! ❤️ Thank you for a great meal! 🍚🍗
