Appointment went by fast and I only had to wait a few minutes in the waiting room! The person taking my blood was super precise and took her time. Dr. Nguyen gave great advice concerning my health and could easily understand my situation based on past appointments!

I call to make appointment for whole family's and they asked to get all information and then tell me we can't go in until August and that like 5 month waiting so what a waste of time asking information and can't get in sooner..

Dr. Van is everything you could ever ask for in a primary care provider! I had been in the process of trying to find a new primary care provider for the past couple years. I had tried seeing several different doctors but hadn’t settled with any previously as I felt that they were either uncaring or lacked competence. Dr. Van demonstrated a great deal of knowledge as I told her about my family history and current medical issues. She promptly pinpointed what was likely going on and what the best approach to mitigate my situation would be. Additionally, she was never in a rush to get through the check up. She walked me through everything and always paused to ask if I had any questions to make sure that I was comfortable and understood everything. It was very clear that she genuinely cares for her patients. Overall, it was an easy choice to choose Dr. Van as my new PCP.

I had originally seen Dr. Nguyen and while she was very nice I did not feel like she was a good fit for me. Especially after she said that my labs were normal after I had seen that I actually had some levels that were elevated. I spoke to the ladies in the front office (who were amazing and so nice!) and I set up a new appointment with Dr. Dieu. Today I got a call from the office manager Christy who informed me that all Baylor Scott and White offices do not allow you to switch doctors in office. She was extremely rude to me on the phone and called me disrespectful for asking questions about this policy since I had not been told about this earlier. She repeatedly kept interrupting me as I tried to speak to say that she was canceling my appointment with Dr. Dieu. She also kept repeating how she was going to have to talk with the ladies in the front office about how switching doctors was not a part of the policy. Her tone as she said this was very negative and I was concerned that she was going to be rude to the office ladies as well. After she called me disrespectful, I calmly told her that I felt she was being so by continuing to interrupt me and her response was to say that she’s actually the nicest person who works in that office and she’s been doing her job at Baylor Scott and White for 25 years. She just seemed very entitled to me. So all in all, Dr. Nguyen seemed nice enough just not a good fit for me. The ladies in the office are amazing! However, if you have any issues or miscommunication issues dealing with Christy is going to be horrible. So I guess I would not recommend this office. Which is unfortunate because I’ve since heard great things about Dr. Dieu but I won’t get to find that out because of their policy.
