One reviewer described receiving help understanding the car-buying process while finding a vehicle that fit both their son's preferences and their budget. That kind of support can be especially valuable for first-time buyers, families helping a new driver, and anyone comparing options in a fast-moving vehicle market.

The dealership's inventory experience is not limited to a single type of buyer. Customer reviews mention returning after earlier purchases, while another review references buying a pre-owned 2022 Subaru WRX at the location. Positive comments specifically recognize team members for attentive assistance and going above and beyond, while other feedback raises concerns about vehicle-specific ownership issues and unexpected fees. Prospective buyers may benefit from asking clear questions about pricing, vehicle condition, available coverage, and the details of their purchase before finalizing paperwork.

Whether you are replacing a daily commuter, shopping with a family member, or looking for a vehicle within a defined budget, Vandergriff Toyota offers an Arlington location to begin the conversation. Taking time to discuss your priorities, review the available options, and understand each step can help make a Toyota dealer visit feel more informed and comfortable.

Devin Parish spent such a long time helping me understand the car buying process and helping my son find exactly what he was looking for. Cars are flying out the door but we are so thankful we found a good fit! Devin listened to all our needs and found a car in our budget. We left with a car we are happy with and spent exactly what we planned to spend. I am so very grateful.

Be careful when buying a new car or new Toyota Tacoma TRD, because you will be facing a widespread rodent issue. Because Toyota uses environmentally friendly, soy-based insulation for its wiring harnesses, they are highly attractive to rodents. This often leads to chewed wires, torn belts, and thousands of dollars in damages. I bought my new TRD and only had 400 miles on it took it in the the shop and had to pay out of pocket over 2k worth of damages and the dealer shop told my I have to pay it and get a terminator like if you know about this issue especially on new vehicles you should at least give a discount I’m very upset with Toyota right now and plan on probably trading my truck for a Chevy so I don’t have any issues. I’ve had to put traps up buy peppermint oil spray every night an extra expense so please do your homework on buying a vehicle. Also when I took it in to the shop they did not clean the bay they just repair the damage parts that need to be replaced it just makes me sad

I want to give a big thank you to Jeff Warfield, Jose, Tommy!!! I had to edit this review because who ever reads this review, needs to know how they went above and beyond! To be honest, I thank God for leading me into the right hands! Not …

I am usually not one to write negative reviews as I try to find the positive in every situation. However, I found the car buying experience at Vandergriff Toyota to be incredibly uncomfortable. I bought a 2022 Subaru WRX here in August of 2025. Some of what happened is as follows: - Surprise Fees: Online, the car was listed at a specific price that explicitly stated it included taxes, fees, and destination (the out-of-the-door price). When I arrived at the dealership, an extra $3,000 "Reconditioning fee" was tacked on, putting the total roughly $5,000 over what I expected to pay based on their advertising. When I pointed out the online price and indicated I was willing to walk away, the salesman condescendingly told me that my target price sounded like "someone who doesn't want to pay their taxes." They eventually brought out a price that matched the online quote but still kept a $1,500 reconditioning fee on the paper, stating "we need to make some money off of this car." - Financing Tactics: My bank preapproved me for a used car loan at roughly 5.7%. The dealership insisted they could beat it, repeatedly telling me, "this is a great interest rate for your age" (I was 24 at the time). I kept reminding them that my age was irrelevant because I had excellent credit (a ~795 score). I was guaranteed a rate between 5.4%–5.6% with absolutely no extras, add-ons, or caveats. However, once I got into the finance office, the terms changed: I was told I would only get the 5.47% rate if I bought a warranty; otherwise, it would jump back up. When I told them I'd just stick with my bank's financing, the finance manager confrontationally asked, "How does that make sense?" Ultimately, I had to purchase a lower-tier warranty just to get the promised rate. Vehicle Damage: Approximately three months after purchasing, I removed the rear license plate to detail and wax the paint underneath. To my frustration, I discovered that the dealership prep team had used a drill or impact gun to force the plate on, scratching the trunk paint down to the base layer in three separate places. It will now require the trunk to be resurfaced and repainted. (Before and after photos are attached). I admit I did not reach out to the dealership to rectify this at the time, simply because I didn't want to deal with the stress of going back and forth with them again after my initial experience. Overall, I absolutely love my vehicle, which is the only reason I am giving Vandergriff Toyota 2 stars instead of 1. It was a very uncomfortable first car-buying experience. While it taught me to be much more strict and particular in the future, a customer shouldn't have to deal with these kinds of tactics just to get an advertised price.

Hands down one of the best car buying experiences I’ve ever had. I actually came back here because it’s where I bought my first couple of cars when I moved to Texas, and they definitely didn’t disappoint Huge shoutout to the team at Vandergrift Toyota in Arlington for making the whole transaction so seamless. Honestly, it only took two quick calls with Ms. Liz to wrap up the deal she really knows her stuff when it comes to cars. Once I got there, the manager, Mr. Glenn Byrd, already had the vehicle ready to go and even walked me through setting up the app. Also have to mention Mr. Ryan, who knocked out the paperwork in no time. Thanks so much for the help, y'all. Highly recommend them!
