Camelback Toyota is a Toyota dealer at 1550 E Camelback Rd in Phoenix, Arizona (Phoenix, AZ 85014). For local shoppers comparing Toyota vehicles or planning a dealership visit in central Phoenix, this is a place to consider and evaluate based on your needs. Customer feedback describes people visiting to purchase new vehicles, including a 2026 Toyota Grand Highlander Limited Hybrid MAX. The dealership’s published rating is 4.5 out of 5 from 17,052 reviews, a broad snapshot of customer opinions rather than a guarantee of any individual experience.

Several reviewers call out staff members for being responsive, helpful, and attentive during the buying process. Customers specifically mention Jacob Q., Ryan C., Bj Hill, and Eddie Mkpanam. One buyer appreciated feeling heard and valued during an especially busy Saturday visit, while another described Bj as friendly, communicative, and helpful while pursuing a hard-to-find vehicle. A customer who worked with Eddie praised his prompt email replies and willingness to spend time answering questions. These accounts suggest that shoppers who value clear communication and a personal conversation may want to ask for a sales representative who can guide them through their options.

The atmosphere may vary with the day and the number of visitors. One review recalls a Saturday when the dealership was bustling, but also says the staff helped make the interaction feel personalized. If you prefer a more focused visit, contacting the dealership ahead of time and confirming who you will meet may help you plan. Reviews describe vehicle shopping and purchasing, but do not provide confirmed details about current inventory, availability, or business hours. Check those details directly before making the trip, especially if you are looking for a specific Toyota model or trim.

Customer experiences are not uniformly positive, so it is sensible to review the paperwork carefully and ask questions before agreeing to a purchase or financing arrangement. Some reviewers report problems with the buying process, vehicle safety, or title and registration, including concerns from an out-of-state buyer. These are individual customer allegations, not independently verified findings, but they underline the value of confirming the vehicle’s condition, the full terms of any financing, and how title and registration will be handled in your state. Before visiting Camelback Toyota in Phoenix, bring your questions, take time to compare the written details, and make sure the next steps are clear. That approach can help you decide whether this Toyota dealer is the right fit for your car search.

Props to Camelback Toyota and to Jacob Q. and Ryan C. for putting together a stellar buying experience. On a Saturday before Cinco De Mayo, the place was BUSTING with people. This dealership knows how to welcome clients and at the same time make clients feel heard, valued and personalized. Jacob's communication before the sales appointment was consistent, relevant and non-intrusive. He worked diligently throughout the whole process from first contact - drive away to ensure the process was smooth, to ensure I got the vehicle I wanted, and to deliver the vehicle much, no really, MUCH sooner than I anticipated. When it came time for Ryan (Finance Manager) to work his magic, he was organized, professional, friendly and literally personally invested in not only the purchase process but also in me as the client. He explained every option thoroughly and concisely at the same time. He listened when I declined certain options with NO added pressure, he was forthcoming with sharing his experiences on beneficial options, and at the end of the day we hit the comfortable price point (you know the point after the initial sales pricing discussion when the 'options' hit the table.) I was absolutely completely happy with the way he executed what many might consider the most difficult part of the process. Camelback Toyota gave me a more than fair trade in price for my old car and made it easy to proceed forward with my decision to buy. I live in Casa Grande, Az and trust me, TRUST ME, the drive to Camelback Toyota was more than worth the price and effort. I am confident you'll be happy with the experience if you decide to consider your car buying process with Camelback Toyota. This is my own review language, no AI involved. ;)

We had a great experience at Camelback Toyota purchasing our 2026 Toyota Grand Highlander Limited Hybrid MAX! Bj Hill was an excellent salesperson—friendly, helpful, and communicative throughout the process. This was a hard-to-find vehicle, and Bj made the experience smooth and stress-free. Miguel Silva in finance was also great to work with. We received a fair price on the vehicle and a good value for our trade-in. We’re very satisfied with our purchase and the overall experience. Thank you, Bj, Miguel, and Camelback Toyota, for making this such a positive experience!

Probably the worst car buying experience I have had, and I've bought about 6 cars now. The manager talked me into financing this through the dealership claimed it would be easier that way so I can be in and out faster. We arrived at 9AM in the morning to literally pick up the car and go, assumed it would take no more then two hours everything that was emailed too me was signed prior. We sat in the dealership for 5 hours as the manger, and salesman avoided us while they "process" the finance stuff. After 5 hours of frustration we finally leave with the car and the FIRST 10 minutes after we start driving home (12 hour drive btw) the coolant light flashes and says my engine is overheating turn it off immediately so I drive it back to the dealership and it takes another 2 hours for them to fix it. Now we have spent 6-7 hours in this dealership right you think it would end there... 1 hour in to the drive back we get a tire pressure light, I fill it with air and every hour it comes back on! Turns out there's a nail in my tire. Toyota claimed to scan my tires and claimed there was no nails they also claimed the tread to be at 60% for all 4 tires and when i take it in too my local tire shops (Discount Tire, and Burt Brothers) both confirmed with two different measuring tools they had less than 30% tread on them, some had 20% Both tire shops said the nail cannot be patched and I need 4 new tires. Manager credited me for one of the tires and my dinner and that's the most they would do. Basically blamed me for somehow spending 40% of my tire tread on my way home. So that's my experience hope this review helps your dealership do better and get better customer service for future customers.

Ask for Eddie Mkpanam if you want to buy a car! ✨ I was looking to buy a new car. Eddie Mkpanam helped me out from the start. He was very responsive to emails, responding within minutes. Then, I went to meet him the same day at the dealership. He spent 2-3 hours with me, answering my endless questions and working hard to find me the exact car I wanted for the price I needed. I’m not easy to please. In the end, we weren’t able to make a deal but it was through no fault of his own. The car I wanted was at another dealership and the inventory managers just weren’t able to make it happen. I know Eddie did everything he could for me. He even gave me tips on finding the right car and followed up with me later, even though there was nothing in it for him by then. If you’re going to buy a car, ask for Eddie Mkpanam when you go to Camelback Toyota. He’s an honest salesman who is genuinely working for you. He has no reason to help me after he saw the deal wasn’t gonna happen for him and he was still kind, generous, and genuinely helpful in trying to get me in the car I really wanted. It was truly refreshing in today’s world to see someone, especially a car salesman of all people, go out of his way to be so kind and helpful. Kudos to Camelback Toyota for hiring him! (Including a photo because I know photos help reviews)

I would give this place a negative 10. This dealership is deceiving that lies to you and sell cars that are not safe on the road. I’m having tittle issue because of them and have trouble registering my vehicle since I’m an outer state buyer. I got tittled in AZ when I should of been tittled in my state. So now I’ll be paying double taxed and the value of the vehicle which cost me 51k now in my state will cost me 86k for the value which I have the pay the taxes for that instead of 51k because it’s tittled in AZ and can’t fix their mistake. I changed my plane ticket twice because the car wouldn’t start and waited 5 hours just to get the vehicle and still managed to mess it up. They sold me a vehicle with used bad tires as well that were plugged in the sidewall. They let me leave their dealership like that and when I asked for the multipoint they refuse to provide. They say they can’t help me with the tittle that was tittled in AZ to have it changed because they can’t do that process. All I ask them was to correct it with Arizona DOT so I can get it tittled here in MD but no solution from them. Now I have a tag that expired and can’t register the vehicle. Stay far away from this place as far as you can. If a dealership sells you a car with bad tires that means that they don’t care about their customers and that tells you everything About their business. I’ll be sending out my letter to corp.
