Sign in to reviewI had a great experience here. The team is reliable, professional, and clearly hardworking. They were honest about what my car needed and didn’t try to upsell anything. It’s hard to find mechanics you can trust, and this shop is one of them ill be coming back for sure!
Amazing place! Went above and beyond with my car. Unbelievable work ethic! Easy to communicate! The guys are very hard working and take pride in it. Adding to my list of the most trustworty auto places on the West Coast.
BEWARE: Junior used my car to commute over an hour each way to his house in Bay Point overnight to “test drive” it after resetting the exhaust light on the dash. My exhaust light came on the dash so a family friend recommended I take my car to Jr. This family friend was trying to help out so he called Jr and let him know what was going on and that he was sending us into the shop. Jr took down my name and number and said he’d take a look and call me back once he runs a diagnostic to see what’s going on. I didn’t hear back from Jr all day so my family friend was trying to help out and called Jr’s cell to ask for an update. Jr let him know he was too busy to get to my car today and if we wanted to leave it overnight he would get to my car first thing tomorrow morning. Yeah no big deal that would have been fine. I go to pick up my car this morning. The fix was no big deal- I had just had the interior of my car detailed the day prior. Basically from my detailer shampooing my seats and cleaning the inside for a few hours leaving the doors open and the lights on inside the car, it triggered the exhaust light to go on the dash and it just needed to be reset. After I took off from the shop I thought it was odd I had no gas. I always take a picture of my odometer before I leave my car with anyone. When I checked I had 60 miles put on my car since dropping it off at the shop….UHHH WHAT!?! Checked the tracker in my car and sure enough saw the history of where my car had been taken. I called Jr to ask him what he was doing with my car putting 60 miles on it that is insane! Jr said oh yeah I took it to my house in Bay Point last night because I had to test drive it after resetting the fuse. UMM IN WHAT WORLD DO YOU NEED TO DRIVE A CUSTOMERS CAR OVER AN HOUR EACH WAY IN COMMUTE TRAFFIC FOR A TEST DRIVE??? Begrudgingly the communication should have run directly through me and Jr about my car. I didn’t have Jr’s direct line as my family friend did and when he just said Jr couldn’t work on it today he’ll work on it first thing tomorrow morning I didn’t think it was a big deal. I seriously would have never thought I’d take my car to a mechanic that would take advantage of having my car overnight to use it to commute back and forth home so he could basically use up my gas and wear & tear/milage on my car instead of his. When I questioned Jr about this on the phone because I was absolutely not okay with him taking my car for a “2 hour test drive” he continuously lied to me saying no I told your friend I had to drive the car to my house to test drive it after I fixed it. This doesn’t really make any sense that Jr needed to test drive my car yesterday when the whole reason it needed to be left overnight was because he could not get to my car yesterday and was going to get to my car first thing this morning. I called my family friend who confirmed no Jr absolutely never said he was going to take my car to his house overnight. Again I regret not having the line of communication go directly through Jr and myself. But it seriously didn’t cross my mind the mechanic I took my car to would do this. Cherry on top was my seats were absolutely spotless after having the interior shampooed the day before taking my car to Jr. When I picked up my car Jr left trash in my car, there’s a stain on the passenger seat, and he must have thrown something greasy/dirty in my middle row because I now have a grease stain on the back of my drivers seat/middle row seat. I have never written a negative review in my life. I believe in speaking with the owner if I seriously have an issue. This is a father/son business and I have taken this up with Jr, the owner, who has just lied to me about the situation to try and cover for himself. I found my experience to be quite unbelievable so I write this review as a warning because this is most likely not the first time Jr has used a customers car to commute an hour each way to Bay Point so he can use someone else’s gas instead of his. I find this to be wildly unprofessional.
They do great work! I love these guys! Great prices. Great service! I’ve had them do my brakes several times. As well as other repair work. Bring your car there. You’ll be in good hands.
Just fantastic in every regard. Service, communication, transparency, pricing. A family business run by great guys. My van suddenly shut down on the highway; after getting it to start again, I coaxed it to the closest shop I could find. So grateful it was these guys––I pulled up, Junior took a look right away, saw the temperature gauge maxed out, and turned it off. The thing was on the verge of catching on fire. I needed a new engine, as mine had basically melted. I thought it would be well over $5k, but these guys got it done for just over $3k, all-in, for a used engine with a 6 month warranty. When we had an issue with our serpentine belt a month or so after the replacement, Junior replaced it in under half hour, free of charge. Engine is now running perfectly. Highly, highly recommend this spot.
