I’ve been seeing Letizia since 2020, and six years later I’m still coming back! that alone says everything. She is hands down the best aesthetician I’ve ever been to. She’s knowledgeable, professional, caring, and truly passionate about helping her clients achieve great results. My skin has never looked better! Where do I even start? I first came to Letizia in 2022 when I was a sophomore in college to get my very first chemical peel. I was extremely nervous because, as a Black woman, we’re more prone to hyperpigmentation, and not every cosmetic procedure is suitable for darker skin tones. Originally, I scheduled a regular VI Peel, but after discussing my concerns with hyperpigmentation, Letizia recommended the VI Precision Plus Peel instead. Before starting, she thoroughly explained the procedure, what to expect, and all of the post-care instructions. During the treatment, she continuously checked on me, explained each step before doing it, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the process.I followed the aftercare instructions carefully, and within a week, my skin was glowing. My texture was smoother, and my hyperpigmentation had noticeably improved. Typically, chemical peels require a series of about 3–4 sessions depending on how deep the pigmentation is, but at the time I only did one session. Fast forward 3 years later to Fall 2025, I decided I wanted to fully commit to doing a series of peels, and I immediately booked with Letizia again. I completed 3 sessions of the VI Precision Plus Peel followed by 1 session of a stronger depigmenting peel called the Enlighten Peel. Over the course of 4 months, my skin improved so much.Today, I also decided to try the LaseMD treatment. I always find myself coming back to Letizia because she is incredibly knowledgeable about all skin tones, especially darker skin tones. One of the things I appreciate most is that she takes a very conservative and thoughtful approach to skincare. She starts gently, monitors how your skin reacts, and truly prioritizes skin health over doing too much too quickly. I also really appreciate how educational she is. I always leave learning something new about my skin. If you’re a person of color looking to treat hyperpigmentation or address other skin concerns, I highly recommend seeing Letizia at Venus Spa.
