VERBENA Parlor + Social House

Sadly very disappointing experience. The workers were all a bit rude - it felt very high school/cliquey to me there which is the opposite of a relaxing atmosphere. I must point out though there was one gentleman who worked there who seemed lovely and very kind to his customers. I received the dazzle manicure and it’s already chipping on multiple nails after two days. Whenever I get this at my nail salon back it Brooklyn it last weeks and still looks perfect. Overall not worth the price here.

My first experience here was lovely. I booked an appointment here because they advertised non-toxic polishes and offered builder gel. I arrived a few minutes early and I got greeted and checked in for my appointment right away. I was pleasantly surprised that there wasn't the smell strong fumes like other nails salons which was great because I'm currently pregnant and would not have enjoyed the strong smells. Lala was my nail tech and was amazing! She helped me with deciding on a nail design options after showing her some inspo pics. She was so sweet and I didn't feel rushed at all. She made sure I was comfortable and checked in with me on my nail shape and color the entire time. My nails turned out perfect! I did have to get extensions for my stubby thumb nails but she assured me that at the next appointments we could file them down until my natural nails were long enough. Will definitely be returning!

I’ve been going to Verbena since August 2024, the front staff and all the employees are so welcoming! Now my nail game is on point ( using cuticle oil is very necessary) Alana is a true artist/ often I’ll just let her pick my color and design/ it’s always on 🔥! she’s also very patient when I’m nodding 🙂‍↕️😴 off and not keeping my hand still!! The entire shop is extremely clean 👍🏽

The water was so extremely hot in the bucket they use for pedicures I have a burn on my foot! The woman who sat next to me also complained about her water temperature being too hot. Also, I was four minutes “late” to my appointment and was told she wouldn’t have time to use a hot towel then she told me she would have two minutes to use lotion and a hot towel. Then she messed my polish up twice from fanning and kept telling me hopefully her next appointment is late so she can finish the pedicure. Ultimately, someone else came to finish the job. Having a stricter policy than doctors offices for pedicures? Chill out, you’re not that important.

I cannot overstate how amazing Verbena is. After bouncing around to so many so-called “healthy” nail salons that ended up absolutely wrecking my nails, finding Verbena has been the biggest relief. Not only is it a clean, cute, and fume-free space, but the level of care and attention to detail from the nail artists is unmatched. Everyone here is incredibly well-trained, meticulous, and genuinely invested in the health of your nails (all pics are of my natural nails with builder gel!) The staff are always warm and welcoming, the vibes are immaculate, and the lattes are better than most other craft coffee in the area. It’s the perfect spot to bring your besties or your hubby and is easily one of my favorite places to go to in Dallas.
