Watching my father suffer in his final hours without care or support from these hospice nurses is really beyond imagination. It’s any human’s worst nightmare. No follow-ups, no returned calls, no respect, and NO professionalism. Need the medication they promised? Too bad - it’s the weekend and they’re off work. Need something immediately? They place the order for mail delivery. If your loved one is ending their journey here on earth, please PLEASE find someone else to help support that transition. VIA Health is garbage and suffering.
I am just starting my Journey with VIA! What a great team to have providing me with all that I could ask for with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer! I first got connected to VIA on Wednesday, already in only 2 days I have my RN, my tech, my prayer partner and with a phone call anything else I should need for controlling my recovery! I say recovery because this team understands what Hospice care entails! I’m eating again, little pain, sleeping 5 hours a night from 2-3 hours! Just today, Sleepy, made a special trip to bring me some medical equipment, then he was off to Rock Hill South Carolina! What a great man this is! Our family is deeply grateful to Via Health Partners for the exceptional care, respect, and love shown to our loved one and to our family during an incredibly difficult time. A special thank you to our home health nurse, Renee, whose compassion, attentiveness, and gentle presence meant more to us than words can express. She treated our loved one with dignity and kindness and provided our family with reassurance, guidance, and comfort every step of the way. We are also profoundly thankful for the Huntersville hospice house staff. Each person we encountered showed genuine empathy, professionalism, and respect. Their calm, caring approach created a peaceful environment and allowed us to focus on being present with our loved one. Hospice care takes a special kind of heart, and the Via Hospice team—especially Renee and the hospice house staff—demonstrated that consistently. We will always be thankful for the love and support they provided when it mattered most.
Our Via team in Morganton, NC was amazing! They were caring and hands-on, thorough, and always there for what we needed while caring for my father-in-law! Brooke M our nurse and Katie B our social worker were phenomenal. Even the equipment delivery man was amazing and kind.
Our Family recently engaged the Hospice Care Team with Via Health. We immediately felt relieved to have expert, compassionate care . The team frequently assessed and customized the plan on a minute to minute basis. They truly are available 24/7 and made the experience comfortable and dignified for our Father. It was a godsend .
