Viet Noms - Vietnamese Restaurant is a welcoming Vietnamese restaurant in Livermore, CA, located at 1100 E Stanley Blvd, Livermore, CA 94550. For locals, commuters, and visitors passing through the East Bay, it offers a dependable stop for Vietnamese comfort food with a menu that reaches beyond the basics. With a 4.5-star rating across 372 reviews, the restaurant has earned attention for flavorful bowls, fresh ingredients, and service that guests often describe as friendly and attentive. It feels especially useful when you want a relaxed sit-down meal that stays close to familiar Vietnamese flavors.

The pho is one of the most frequently praised orders, especially for diners looking for a clean, satisfying broth without a heavy aftertaste. Reviewers also point to the crisp banh khot served with fresh vegetables, pork vermicelli with generous portions of pork, and spring rolls for a familiar, shareable start. If you are exploring regional flavors, the bun rieu stands out for balanced richness and fresh ingredients, while bun bo Hue is available for those who enjoy a spicier, heartier noodle soup.

Beyond noodle soups, Viet Noms gives guests plenty to choose from. Shaken beef, fried tofu, garlic green beans, fruit smoothies, Vietnamese coffee, and a refreshing grass jelly drink all appear in customer favorites. The menu also includes clearly marked vegetarian options, making it a practical choice for mixed groups where everyone needs something they can order comfortably. One person can come in for a classic bowl of pho, while another can build a meal around tofu, vegetables, coffee, or a smoothie.

The atmosphere is casual and unfussy, with an interior some guests describe as dimmer and a soundtrack of oldies from the 60s and 70s that gives the dining room a relaxed, nostalgic feel. It works well for everyday lunches, low-key dinners, solo meals, and quick stops when traffic changes your plans. It is also comfortable for office colleagues or small groups, especially because the menu covers meat dishes, vegetarian plates, drinks, and lighter sides without making ordering feel complicated.

For people searching for a Vietnamese restaurant in Livermore or near Stanley Boulevard, Viet Noms - Vietnamese Restaurant offers a grounded local experience rather than a trend-driven one. The best way to approach it is simple: order a bowl that fits your mood, add something crisp or fresh to share, and finish with Vietnamese coffee or a smoothie. Got stuck in traffic and swing by this place by Yelp. Food tasted OK. Atmosphere kinda dark inside, there was no one when we got there. Service was great. We had bún bò Huế, which was ok 7 out of 10 to me.

Best pho! No after taste after realizing there’s no MSG in their food. The Banh Knot was also very crispy served with fresh veggies. Also tried this unusual refreshing drink that has grass jelly. Will definitely visit again.

Stellar Vietnamese restaurant with an extensive menu including fruit smoothies. Food was very tasty. Vietnamese coffee was delicious. Shaken beef was really good. Fried tofu and garlic green beans were great. Love the oldies music (60s and 70s) they play.

I ordered the pork vermicelli, bun rieu, and spring rolls. The vermicelli came with a generous amount of pork and great flavor. Spring rolls were decent. But the star was the bun rieu, super fresh ingredients and really balanced, rich flavor. Easily the best bun rieu I’ve had in the area. The service was also quick and great. Quick to fill waters and offered napkins.
