Can't believe I've slept on this restaurant for years. The food does the talking here. 1. Steamed Rice Cakes with Taro 4/5 2. Spring Rolls with Chicken 5/5, an herbaceous dish, served with a subtly spicy fish sauce 3. Shaking lamb cubes 5/5, great with the Italian red 4. Weaving rice noodle with fish 5/5, the fried shallots pop in this dish 5. Clay pot rice with fish 10/5 - just get this The remodeled interior is very welcoming, modern, and has interesting art and motorbikes from Vietnam. Classical music in background (chef's kiss). Also great that the place serves demi-bottles of reasonably priced wine. Beer's great too. Our server exuded hospitality, very attentive, and proud to tell us about the chef/restaurateur. Thanks for having us. We'll be back!

Michelin Star Bound! Freshest spring roll my lips have ever tasted. The wagyu melted in our mouths, refreshing sake, dumplings to die for. We will be back, again and again. Best part: they pay their employees well and are a no tipping establishment. Best date night ever!

Beautifully delicious place to have dinner. Scrumptious, well curated and crafted dishes that aren’t overly seasoned. Tastefully Designed. Quaint, soothing place to dine. We love this new addition to our neighborhood. We hope you expand the menu to see more options as you progress. Thank you for opening here.

Love the japan/scandi/retro ambiance and decor! Liking the concept of vietnamese tapas. However the food was a bit underwhelming. The summer fresh roll was particulary sad. The shitake salad and catfish clay pot were the highlights. Been to other vietnamse "tapas" and the dishes had more impactful flavor. Given the small portions...was expecting more flavor to come through. Likely will not be returning.

Bae and I had a music industry function in the hills behind this stretch of street. I saw this place was newish and had amazing reviews. The spot is a little hard to find which is OK but unusual for this relatively dowdy stretch of neighborhood where the raining cuisine is still, in 2024, red sauce italian(!) I love going to the Capri with friends during the holiday season but this was a wednesday night in July. It was literally empty when we walked in and it made Bae nervous but I'd read the reviews so I reassured her. Like the name indicates it's a Vietnamese restaurant that serves food tapas style. So Bae loved it, I'm not a huge fan of tapas period, not even in the basque country or Spain, but this is still a great restaurant and deserves support! I would go back for sure if I was back here in the area, maybe before a vidiots movie.
