The pho was good, the short ribs were good. Everything else was not hot. Crawfish were so dry and unseasoned. Banh khot had no flavor. The fried shrimp had so much batter on it and the buffet lid they used to cover it I guess may of caused the shrimp to not be crispy. The deserts were ok. Waiter was very nice. Paid about 60 for 2 people.

Lunch 7/17/26 Highlights: 1. Elegant modern interior design 2. Spacious atmosphere Items that were fresh and good to eat: 1. Cá kho 2. Beef ribs 3. Steamed blue crabs 4. Canh chua 5. Cá chiên thì là Items that were dried up and old, as if it has been sitting on the shelf for endless hours. 1. Bánh khọt 2. Bánh xèo 3. Stir fry 4. Fried tofu 5. Thịt kho (very dry, fatty, and hard) Food selections: For this lunch buffet, I had higher expectations. I did not came to eat the mediocre home comfort type of food normally cooked at home. Value of buffet: overpriced Quality of food: mediocre to poor, do not expect hot fresh made food here Sanitary: The employees are too lazy to fill the soap dispenser and paper towel dispenser when the business was slow. Conclusion: I will never come back nor will bring my family and friends here.

In town for an event, second time visiting since their opening. A lot of good changes, no lobster and snow crab, but the prices were reduced. We enjoyed the other seafood options like the crawfish and scallops. First time seeing those bamboo steam baskets, they were neat and worth a try! Will definitely be back again

I went to the restaurant with my Vietnamese friend Amy; it was her treat! I was very impressed by how delicious everything was. I could not wait to return with my wahine sisters soon! And also take my husband here, he doesn't care for seafoods but there are other options for him. I am in absolute heaven here because I love seafoods and the dishes I tried was all tasty! Even the owner came to our table and chatted with us!

Tried Voyage buffet for the first time today and thought it was pretty good. Some people here either had a very unlucky day (then consistency can be improved) or very hard to please! I've tried Kim Sơn many times in Houston and very glad to have another option (long overdue). The foods I could try today had very good seasoning and texture (e.g. the ribs were tender). I can see they try to keep the foods warm with heat and lid, which is great. Please keep this up as people love warm food. Desserts were good too. I got yogurt, Sugarcane, chè, and chocolate eclaire... They were good (yogurt could be less sweet, but at least it had the tartness which is good). Staff were attentive and helpful. Hot buns were given out today when they were fresh out of the oven. Customers including myself enjoyed it. Please keep up the good work (and keep it open please)! Will come back hopefully soon (as I live quite far).
