Vietnam Veterans of America Las Vegas

Vietnam Veterans of America Las Vegas is a veterans organization in Las Vegas, Nevada, with its headquarters at 6424 W Cheyenne Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89108. The organization is also referred to in customer feedback as Vietnam Veterans Chapter 17. Its local presence is meaningful to people who want to recognize Vietnam veterans, connect with a veteran community, or learn more about the organization’s work in the area. For people searching for a veterans organization in Las Vegas, this address is a local point of reference. The available information identifies the organization and its community role, but does not provide a full list of programs or services, so visitors should contact the organization directly to confirm what assistance or activities are currently available.

Customer feedback describes a place associated with mutual support among veterans and service to the wider community. One reviewer praises Chapter 17’s commitment to supporting one another and the community, while another describes receiving help with folding an oversized family flag. These accounts suggest that the organization may be relevant to veterans, relatives of veterans, and community members seeking a respectful place to acknowledge military service. The experiences are personal, however, and do not establish that every visitor can receive the same kind of help. If you have a specific question about veterans’ support, an event, or assistance with a flag, ask ahead rather than assuming the service is available at a particular time.

Some visitors mention donations and donation pickup, but their experiences vary. A reviewer reports preparing clothing, a bicycle, and a floor cleaner for pickup without anyone arriving; another describes having boxed and organized goods but encountering limitations during collection. These comments are important context for anyone considering a donation. The provided business information does not confirm which items are accepted, how pickup is arranged, or whether collection is currently offered. Before sorting or transporting belongings, verify the donation process and get clear instructions about accepted items, scheduling, and where to leave them. This can help avoid a wasted trip or an unsuccessful pickup and gives the organization a chance to explain its current arrangements.

The listed office hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and closed Saturday and Sunday. However, customer reviews report finding the location closed during a weekday visit and describe limited Saturday access, including a mention of the second Saturday of the month. Because these reports do not fully match the listed schedule, confirm current hours before visiting, especially on a weekend or when making a special trip. The directory lists a 4.2-star rating from 42 reviews, reflecting a range of experiences rather than a guarantee of any particular service. Vietnam Veterans of America Las Vegas may be worth contacting if you are looking for a local connection to veterans and their community; confirm the details that matter to your visit first.
