Sign in to reviewI will forever be grateful to Vitas Healthcare Hospice for the compassionate and loving care they gave to my father during his final journey. Losing him has been the deepest pain of my life. But knowing he was surrounded by people who treated him with kindness and dignity brings some peace to my heart. The hospice team did more than provide medical care. They cared for his spirit and his comfort. They spoke to him gently, cared for his needs with patience, and made sure he was treated with dignity until his very last breath. In a time when our family felt helpless and overwhelmed, they became a source of strength, guidance, and warmth. They helped keep my father comfortable when he could no longer speak for himself. They treated him as a person who was deeply loved and deeply valued. They also supported our family with patience and compassion, answering my questions and comforting me during one of the hardest experiences of our lives. Because of them, my father’s final days were filled with peace rather than fear. That peace is a gift I will carry in my heart forever. Thank you, Vitas Hospice, for helping my father leave this world with dignity, peace, and love surrounding him. I will always be grateful for the kindness you gave us during our hardest goodbye.
I have nothing but good things to say about this company. First off to my mothers Nurse Ms.Jo. A sweetheart. Truly compassionate and caring making sure my mother was comfortable. The chaplain very nice and informative. Everyone is so nice, facility was clean and comfortable. Even after 2 months after my mothers passing they still call us to see if we need anything. The volunteers are sweet even made my mothers favorite shirt and pjs a memory Bear. I’m so glad we went with this company Thank you everyone for everything. ❤️
Shout out to Cassie and the team helping with the process with my grandmother. They made the process so smooth for us I can't thank her enough for taking the time to walk us through everything and making our life easier.
My mother was using another hospice for the 1st part of the year. I struggled with the quality of care she was getting with her nurse. When her nurse did show up at the house , I had to remind her of meds that needed to be refilled, abd or ordered. I had to fight for everything to get my mom the care that she needed under hopice regulatulions. I felt like we were an inconvenience for them. We got with Vita's June of last year and have been with them since then. It is like taking a breath of fresh air! They are all so caring, compassionate, well versed at their job and I feel that they genuinely want to help us. Our nurse Katey is the greatest! She is on top of everything.l!!!!! They get a 5 star review from us! I am SO thankful we found Vitas! I know my mom is getting he best possible care now!
We recently had to endure the awfulness that vitas had to offer. They were not compassionate during a very difficult time. Almost every person we encountered was less compassionate than the one before them. We did have two people we felt showed a little Ron and I believe her name was jasmine. From getting someone to call us with etas to when walking in the home we’re just cold it is a place I would not recommend for your loved ones. The on call nurse who came to release my grandmother was by the far the worst!!! We literally just lost the most important person to us and he had zero compassion. Zero communicate with us just came in used his phone flash light to look in her eyes and walked out. Horrible place!! Please if you are needing to use a hospice please don’t use this place!
