About

Vivi Spa is a spa at 1922 Passyunk Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19148, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. For people searching locally for massage or a place to book a body treatment, the available customer feedback points to a straightforward, hands-on experience rather than an elaborate resort-style setting. Guests have described the environment as warm, while others characterize the facilities as basic. That practical picture can help you decide whether the spa’s approach matches what you have in mind before making an appointment.
Massage is the service most clearly mentioned in customer reviews. Several guests describe receiving a body massage, and experiences vary: some speak highly of the massage itself, including one guest who rated it very positively and said the full booked time was provided. Other reviewers report that their session felt less thorough or ended earlier than expected. One customer also mentions Chinese moxibustion and a medicinal treatment, describing feeling better afterward and appreciating the warm atmosphere. Because that treatment involved a smoky smell, it may be worth asking about the service and its scent in advance if you are sensitive to smoke.
The feedback also offers useful context about communication and appointment expectations. Some guests have found it possible to coordinate with a phone translation app, while noting that English communication can be challenging. One reviewer describes arriving for a confirmed appointment only to learn that no one was working; another reports concerns about the length of a session and a request for a specific tip. These are individual customer accounts, not a guarantee of what every visit will be like, but they make it sensible to confirm your appointment directly, clarify the treatment duration and price, and ask about tipping before your session begins.
Vivi Spa is listed as open daily, Monday through Sunday, from 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Its directory listing shows a 4.1 rating from 55 reviews. That combination of extended daily hours and massage-focused feedback may make it convenient for Philadelphia residents looking for a body massage or a traditional treatment, especially when they value a simple setting. The reviews are mixed, so visitors who prioritize a quiet, polished atmosphere or detailed English-language communication may want to discuss their preferences ahead of time. For the clearest expectations, confirm availability, the exact service, session length, payment, and any additional charges when booking.

The environment here is very warm. I had a Chinese moxibustion and medicine treatment. My whole body felt much better. The only thing is that it has a bit of smoky smell. It is suitable for people who like this smell. I personally like it very much and will definitely patronize it often. It is worth recommending
I had an appointment scheduled and received multiple communications confirming the time and date. When I arrived to the business I was informed no one was working because of the rain. They offered no apology for not cancelling my appointment and no accountability for their booking mistake.
Made a appointment at 10 am been here before had a nice massage decided to go back today 7/30/25 I won’t ever go back she gave me a very lazy massage booked for one hour she stopped at 10:42 and then proceeded to ask for tip I said you didn’t even provide me with the service I’m paying for and you want a tip won’t be going back ever
Massage was decent. The place smelled like someone had just smoked cigarettes which was not pleasant and there was no music on so I wouldn’t say it was the most relaxing. At the end, they told me what amount I had to tip which I’ve never experienced before.
I took my cousin for a body massage for her birthday. Communication was a bit challenging since they don’t speak English, but we were able to understand each other using the phone translator. The facilities were very basic, nothing out of the ordinary. The massage was 10/10, and they took the full hour as expected, which is what we paid for. The bad and tasteless part was that we were going to leave a tip, but they specifically asked us for a $20 tip. Since it was her birthday, they gave us a $5 discount, so we ended up paying $15 as a tip. I believe tipping should be voluntary, not mandatory, and definitely not a fixed amount, especially one that’s almost 35% of the service.
