Vocho's Auto Repair

Vocho's Auto Repair is an auto repair shop at 8410 SE Foster Rd in Portland, Oregon, serving drivers who need help diagnosing and fixing vehicle problems. Customers describe the team as knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive, with staff who greet visitors promptly and make an effort to understand what they need. Whether your car has stopped running smoothly or you are looking for a mechanic you can return to over time, the shop offers a local place to discuss the issue and find a practical next step.

Volkswagen drivers may especially appreciate the shop’s experience: customer reviews describe David as highly knowledgeable about VW vehicles, while also noting that he works on other makes and models. Reviews mention prompt diagnosis and repairs, along with cars running smoothly after service. The feedback also highlights realistic repair timelines and fair pricing, including for new and used tires. Because the shop can have a steady flow of vehicles, some customers report that scheduling or turnaround may take longer; it can be helpful to ask about current availability and timing when you call.

The atmosphere customers describe is personable and professional rather than impersonal. Visitors mention courteous treatment, helpful communication, and attention to customer needs, including people who may feel uncertain about finding a trustworthy mechanic. Several reviewers say they have returned over the years, and one describes being a customer for about seven years. That kind of repeat business points to a shop where drivers can build a relationship with the people working on their vehicles and ask questions about the work being considered.
