Sign in to reviewIt's a perfectly fine grocery store. Deli people are always fast and nice, and plenty of self check out. Run of the mill price levels. In store Starbucks and a fresh sushi section are the only things that might be special, and both are just fine.
I really like going early in the mornings to get my bread for my coffee (there's a Starbucks inside too fyi) and really really love the Bakery Manager's dedication and attention she gives her customers. Always helpful. Leigh's customers attention is what keeps me going to same place. Same as my friend we always recommend this place to people. Give it a try!
My Mom & I went to shop at this location at around 2:30 p.m. on a Sunday afternoon. There were more cars than usual in the parking lot. At check out time, it was rather busy. I noticed more cashiers than bagging clerks. A few who chose not to come to our lane and bag our groceries. Our cashier chose not to help bag any of our groceries. So I had to bag them. Even the closing store manager, who just stood at the front of the store doing nothing at all. Being a Sunday, they were short staffed and knew that the store manager was off that day. Despite these things, Vons has good produce, meat, and everything else at fairly good prices. Shop earlier in the day and avoid coming at 4-5 p.m.
Unattended ice cream for how long?? Long enough to be melted... This vons location apparently needs more employees.
Pokemon card troubles management takes it out on you. I felt unsafe. I visited the store to use the Pokémon vending machine and encountered someone occupying the machine for an extended period. When I brought it to management’s attention, instead of addressing the situation, everyone was asked to leave, including myself. I even tried to show management a 20-second video of the individual harassing me and saying nasty things, but they refused to look at it. It was disappointing to see the issue handled this way, as it left the machine inaccessible and didn’t resolve the problem. In my experience, asking for management’s help doesn’t seem to make a difference—in fact, you may end up punished for speaking up. I hope management can find a better way to handle situations like this so customers can have a fair opportunity to use the machines
