The signature draw is the bún bò Huế, a beef noodle soup known for its bold, savory profile. Beyond the noodle soup, diners have mentioned bánh mì bò kho, a beef stew served with bread, along with chén tủy, or bone marrow. These dishes offer additional ways to experience the restaurant's beef-focused Vietnamese comfort food. That makes this Austin Vietnamese restaurant especially appealing for diners who want familiar comfort alongside an opportunity to try a more regional Vietnamese specialty.

We came here for lunch on a Saturday around 1:15 PM, and the wait wasn’t too bad. The restaurant is quite small, so I’d recommend planning ahead if you’re coming with a larger group. The BBH was very flavorful and tasty. It’s not the best BBH I’ve ever had, but it was still very good and definitely worth trying.
Excellent Vua Bun Bo. I am a visitor from San Francisco. This is my first time enjoying this amazing Bun Bo (beef noodle soup) during my visit to the beautiful capital city. I wish the restaurant great success and the expansion of many more branches.♥️ Thank you very much
How lucky are we to finally have an amazing bun bò Huế spot in Austin? Vua Bun Bo Hue just opened here, and it’s already a standout. I’ve only tried …
My husband and I were so used to only ordering pho at other restaurants, but imagine how blown away we were with the food here. We ordered a small Bun Bo Hue and Banh Mi Bo Kho (beef stew with bread) with a bowl of Chen Tuy (bone marrow), and were very surprised at how generous the portions were. The small looked more like a large and they were not stingy on the meat and veggies at all. It was all very flavorful and just adding the marrow really amplified the stews much more. Service was also good, they answered all our questions and are the ones who gave us their recommendations and tips on how to enjoy our meal. Pricing is also very reasonable, not pricey, which also surprised us just because of how good it was. The location is a bit on the small side, make sure to call ahead if you plan on stopping by with a group greater than 4. Perfect for a chill date or mini get together with a couple friends.
