Customer feedback reflects a range of experiences, alongside a 4.8 rating from 147 reviews. For people comparing local real estate agencies, those details offer a useful starting point; an initial conversation can help clarify whether the team and its approach fit your needs and timeline.
Reviews describe support through several parts of the buying process, from touring homes to reaching closing and receiving the keys. One family praised Corey Groshong for his help throughout their home-buying journey. Another customer said Lillia helped them tour several houses and look for a home suited to multigenerational needs, describing her as professional and honest. These accounts point to the value of discussing your household’s priorities early, especially when the right fit depends on more than a standard checklist. Your needs and experience will be specific to you, so ask direct questions about how the process will work.
First-time buyers may appreciate the patience described in a review of Jenna, where a customer recalled feeling naive, intimidated, and full of questions. Another review praised Lily’s awareness of Portland’s competitive housing market and perseverance. Together, these comments suggest that buyers may want to speak openly about their comfort level, decision-making pace, and questions before choosing an agent. If you are considering a first home, an investment property, or a home for an extended family, explain what matters most and ask how the agency can support your search. The reviews offer personal perspectives, not guarantees of a particular result.
Feedback is not uniformly positive: one reviewer raised concerns about an agent’s conduct in their home and a contractor recommendation. That report is one customer’s account, but it is relevant context when evaluating any real estate agency. Consider asking how agent conduct, referrals, and communication are handled, and confirm the details of any recommended service provider for yourself. To connect with Works Real Estate - Portland, visit the office during weekday business hours or contact the agency to discuss your plans. A clear conversation about your goals, expectations, and questions can help you decide whether this Portland, Oregon team is the right fit for your next step.

Now that our transactions have been completed I feel like I can leave an honest review. Our realtor smoked in our house, Drew Ramey. The contractor we had to use was absolutely horrible at the recommendation of our realtor. (They also had poor reviews on their Google page so why they’re recommending them still is beyond me). The communication came to a halt after papers were signed. Apparently our realtor was out of town on vacation, but we were never notified nor was other agent available to be in contact during that time. The number listed for this company did not return phone calls at that time as well. We had to communicate directly with the sellers to arrange a hand off of keys and delivery of payments. Less than ideal when paying such a high fee for these large transactions. Thankful for our dream home we are in now. Would not recommend this company or realtors for future transactions.
We got our keys today!!! Corey Groshong is truly one of a kind. Words cannot fully express how grateful my family and I are for everything he has done for us throughout our home-buying journey. Having worked with numerous real estate agents across California on several investment properties, I can honestly say that Corey stands apart. His integrity, dedication, professionalism, and genuine commitment to his clients are unlike anything I have experienced before. He consistently went above and beyond, never treating us as just another transaction, but as people whose goals and dreams truly mattered to him. Our story with Corey began when my son was a freshman at the University of Oregon. My mother and I had discussed purchasing a property near campus as both an investment and a future rental opportunity. At just 17 years old, my son reached out to Corey to inquire about viewing homes. Most agents would likely have dismissed a teenager asking to see properties with a budget of nearly half a million dollars, especially without proof of funds and with his family living in California. Corey did the exact opposite. He gave my son his time, attention, and respect from day one. Despite every reason to be skeptical, Corey never gave up on us. He patiently guided the process, helped identify the perfect home, and made what could have been a very challenging remote purchase feel remarkably easy. While we were in California and he was in Oregon, Corey handled countless details, coordinated with key individuals, and tirelessly worked behind the scenes to keep everything moving forward. He was the driving force that turned our vision into reality. What stands out most is not only his work ethic, but also his unwavering positivity, kindness, and belief in us from the very beginning. He made us feel valued every step of the way, and for that, we will always be thankful. From my son, my mother, and myself, thank you, Corey. We are forever grateful for your patience, dedication, and support. You helped make an important dream come true, and we will never forget it. We only wish you were licensed in California so we could continue working with you on every future real estate investment. With heartfelt gratitude, thank you for everything, Corey. You have made a lasting impact on our family.
We worked with Lillia on our home buying experience. She was professional and helped us so much from start to finish. Helping us tour several houses till we found the right fit. We had to find something special and fit our multi generational needs. She was honest and without her we would have been completely clueless with so many things. She not only became our realtor but also a friend. Thankful for her!
Lily was more than we had hoped for in a realtor!! The housing market in Portland is wild right now, Lily acknowledges it and perseveres through it with incredible awareness. She knows her craft, she knows her industry, she acknowledged the …
We worked with Jenna to purchase our first home and truly can't recommend them enough. As first time homebuyers we went into the process hopelessly naive, intimidated and excitable and Jenna could not have been more patient or gracious with us (or more specifically me and my endless questions). Jenna's knowledge of real estate and the market, finely honed negotiation skills, strong relationships and dedication were all crucial to us buying the house of our dreams on our very first offer. Equally important was Jenna's commitment to supporting, and being transparent with, us throughout the entire process- buying a house is as anxiety-inducing as it is exciting and we were so grateful to have Jenna there guiding us through every step of the way.
