Sign in to reviewWanted to try a new coffee place and found this spot through Google. Shop looked clean and modern. Staff were friendly and efficient. Loved that we were able to sit at a table outside and enjoy the nice weather. Ordered their ube latte, vanilla latte and strawberry crepe. The ube latte looked pretty with the vibrant purple slowly descending into the latte. The vanilla latte was good, but stronger than expected. The crepe was cooked well. The strawberries were fresh and sweetly satisfying. Paid $29.70 with tip; will make a return visit to taste other items.
An absolute gem! We ordered to stay, our hot coffee came in beautiful mug from Mexico. The shop itself is cozy and inviting, part of the patio was shaded around 3pm so would be perfect to relax with your dog! The owner is so personable, and made a point to walk us through all the different drinks- they make their syrups in house, have a really unique cold brew, AND they even offer vegan options—including a homemade vegan horchata!!
First time here and the drinks and food were really good. Enjoyed their matcha. Appreciated the kind staff and their friendly service. Will be back!
Located in the 'Villages of Escaya' on Avenida Escaya and Heritage Rd with plenty of parking, but can be difficult to find a spot during peak hours due to neighboring businesses. Besides coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, they serve 'Chilaquiles, Breakfast Croissants and Toast, Parfait, and Crepes'. They also have pastries and lunch bites such as 'Chicken Club Sandwich, Salmon Croissant, and Chicken Wrap'. I had their 'Ube Dream' drink over ice which consists of condensed milk, sweet foam, and Ube drizzle. Definitely a treat because this is a very sweet drink, just what I needed. My cousin had an iced 'Matcha Meets Fresa', the fresa mix is made with oat milk which can not be changed as is pre-mixed. Both drinks were delicious! You order at the counter and find an open table if you plan on having your meal there. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, but it gets busy during weekend breakfast hours with a full lobby. The line was to the door but surprisingly, it moved fast. You can also order online and pick up. Service was great. Shootout to 'Froylan', he was extremely welcoming and helpful with the menu as it was our first visit. He even gave us a sample of their 'Café de Olla' served cold, which was interesting. Overall, we had a great experience here and will definitely return to try other menu items.
This coffee shop is genuinely a hidden gem. My husband and I can’t seem to not come here every time we want coffee. The best coffee shop in Chula Vista maybe even all of San Diego. The owner is very friendly and welcoming always making sure you’re taken care of, along with the staff. The coffee and food is unique, high quality and delicious.
