I’ve eaten at Yummy Quán many times, and I’m always impressed by how consistent and well‑crafted every dish is. The flavors are clean and balanced. The space has a calming décor that feels comfortable the moment you walk in. They update …
This place is delicious. The banh xeo is so big and crispy. We love the authentic shrimp paste dishes as well. Ton was a awesome waiter as well. Will come back soon!
Yummy Quan is my absolute go to when I don’t know what to eat in Katy Asia Town. I always get a new dish every visit and I’ve never been disappointed. It’s hard to find good Banh Xeo or Banh Khot outside of Bellaire but this place has it …
Nut allergy friendly: I had no issues mentioning it. Parking: Plenty in the little strip mall Time to Order: 6 minutes for drinks, 15 minutes for main courses We arrived around 1:45PM and got seated for two with no issues. They are BYOB! We saw a sign by the door. Thai Green Tea (4.5/5): Really sweet but with some pretty unique grassy/herbal notes! (Pandan??) Would recommend if they can adjust the sweetness down a notch. We let the ice melt a bit and it made for a great palatte cleanser. Banh Xeo (4.5/5): Definitely one of their signature dishes. I read the reviews on how large it was and it was still shocking! See my hand for reference. It's crispy and delicious. Two downsides: Not enough protein, and not enough lettuce to make wraps with how big it is. But overall, definitely one of the best I've had outside of homemade. Banh Khot (4/5): These little flavor explosions are a perfect bite size and are also a signature dish. Would definitely recommend. A few of ours were light on the pork. Banh Bot Chien (3.5/5): I was dying to try this since there is really one famous spot for it. Their version is very good, but misses on the crispiness. The inside texture and pairing sauces and radish were all very good, it just needed a little more crisp. I love that they give extra garlic and spice and basically let you customize the intensity of your fish sauce to your preference. Paid with no issues via inKind at the counter. We definitely left stuffed and would come back!
