Yvonne’s Nails Fremont is a well-reviewed Nail Salon in Fremont, CA, serving clients from its convenient location at 5205 Mowry Ave, Fremont, CA 94538. With a 4.7 rating from 639 reviews, this salon has become a familiar stop for people who want polished nails, detailed design work, and a friendly appointment experience in the East Bay. Its steady weekly hours, open from 9:30 AM most days through the evening and on weekends until 6:00 PM, make it practical for after-work visits, weekend self-care, or a planned beauty appointment before an event.
Customers often describe the salon as welcoming, attentive, and detail focused. Reviewers mention being greeted warmly, cared for throughout the appointment, and treated with patience, including guests who arrive with a child waiting nearby. That kind of atmosphere matters in a local nail salon: people are not only looking for a clean manicure or a pretty set, but also for a place where they can feel comfortable sitting for a service that may take time. For regular clients, that mix of skill and hospitality is part of what keeps them returning.
Services highlighted by customers include Gel-X nails, build-up gel, nail art, shaping, and help with natural nails that need a gentler approach. Several reviews specifically praise Ann and An for careful work, creative touches, and strong attention to detail. Guests mention bringing in inspiration photos and receiving designs adjusted to better match their personal style. Others appreciate shorter nail shapes, clean-looking sets, long-lasting results, and work that helps thin natural nails look healthier while still feeling wearable. For clients who care about precision, symmetry, and a finished look that fits their lifestyle, Yvonne’s Nails Fremont offers the kind of hands-on artistry that makes a difference.
Like many popular salons, the best experience may come from planning ahead, allowing enough appointment time, and requesting a preferred technician when possible. Some customer feedback points to longer service times or inconsistent experiences, especially for more involved sets, so clear communication about the desired style, length, shape, and budget can help set expectations. This is especially useful for detailed nail art, Gel-X, or build-up gel services where the final result depends on both technique and time.
For anyone searching for a Nail Salon in Fremont, CA that offers detailed nail design, friendly service, and a local-client feel, Yvonne’s Nails Fremont is a strong option to consider. It is a good fit for long-time manicure lovers, clients preparing for special occasions, people who enjoy creative nail art, and anyone who wants a salon on Mowry Avenue with weekday and weekend availability. With many loyal reviewers and specific praise for attentive technicians, this Fremont salon stands out as a practical, style-conscious destination for nail care.

Sign in to reviewI’ve been coming here for years! Ann has always done such a good job. Any picture I show her she creates and adds a creative touch to it to make it more my style. Ann’s nail art and attention to detail is amazing and keeps me coming back! Customer service here is wonderful as well. They always greet me at the door with snacks and beverages of my choice (beautiful mimosas) ;). 10/10 my favorite spot to bring my friends. Super spoiled here!
Had a great experience here! Holly was so friendly and welcoming, and the staff was very attentive throughout my appointment. They were also so sweet and accommodating with my daughter while she waited with me, which I really appreciated. Highly recommend!
Alrighty so, uh — I’ve been a client for years, but $70–$90+ for Gel X or basic nails isn’t worth 3+ hour appointments with slowest, messiest results and uneven cuticles. Skilled techs like Van, Annie, and Ivy have already left last year - which is leaving inconsistent service now :/. When I politely asked An for a redo, both she and Holly tried to blame my color choice, but the real issue was poor application that bulks and coats unevenly—clearly visible in my photos. Why even keep these polishes that clients want if they can’t be applied properly? Despite them buying them & putting out those polishes for display for the clients to want to be colored with? Holly stepped in, w/ an offensive demeanor “Doesn’t look that bad” with my original set which was far worse than this - “We go by numbers, not names” in a vaguely offensive tone; not a soft tone with mannerisms for the time of this modern place? Literally, makes no sense —bc other nail techs (in this salon) had seen the SAME name polish provided in there & had no issue like Holly had. And? Afterwards, holly said this awhile walking away scarily— “Don’t change it again” as YOU as the owner had literally set up a whole fee for that purpose? Why say this to a client? So so uncalled for. It should be the clients decision to want to anyways, no? An “apologized” for her saying that. Despite the modern, upscale look, professionalism, client care, and consistency are severely lacking. Will never return anything associated with this unprofessional of a “ business “ that only has a modern aesthetic look, & complementary drinks to (try) to blemish away their messy tactics onto clients who pay so much for a longevity. Do not know why people still insist on coming here. The owners & SOME workers are only nice to their own conveniences & act up whenever; however. Also, lots of the nail techs (if you were to make an appointment with them directly; no more appointment) as they don’t always show up to work, even if u made that appointment. No one will notify you if that nail tech were to be out; while you took the time out of your day, to try to support a small business shop that is toxic & incompetent. Apparently, apologies have ONLY been their biggest priority than trying to not infuse any more of these issues a client has because of the workers/owners bad habits with their job. Literally shaked my head once the nail tech stated to make another appointment for my already in advanced appointment, that day — after these poorly worked on nails, that took up so much of my time that she had another client to do
This review is about An at table 15. She is an artist:) She helped restore my very thin natural nails back to health and used build up gel to give me the perfect look. The nails have lasted a very long time as well and the shape is perfection for me. I like my nails on the shorter side.
Ann did my gel-x nails and did an amazing job. She took her time with every detail throughout the whole process. This is by far the cleanest and prettiest set I’ve ever gotten. Everyone was so friendly here throughout the whole experience. Will be coming back to have Ann perfect my nails again!:)
