This place gets 5stars for delivering HEAT ! Everything was flavorful and delicious . It’s a small Laos street eats casual restaurant with limited seating indoors but you can’t find a better location . It’s smack dab in the entrance of westbend near the river . We noticed a never ending cycle of deliveries going out while we dined for lunch . Really neat murals painted on the walls of the interior and the service was great. All the food is pretty modifiable and transparent with ingredients . So if you’re a veg head just make sure to communicate with your cashier before ordering . We would absolutely go back !

First time here and definitely not the last. I love Thai food and I always base my experience on how well they make their Pad Thai. I have my favorite spots that make them so well, and some that I’ll never go back to. Well, Zaap makes really yummy Pad Thai and I’ll be coming back for more!! I really enjoyed it and the sauce was perfect. We also ordered the Pad Kee Mao, which was good, just light on the flavor. Their Basil fried rice was also yummy!

Great! The food was delicious. It's a small place with 4 tables, but comfy. Clean and friendly. The price per person is about $20. The portions are fair (have leftovers). Our food was ready in about 10 min. I would definitely go back 😋 Parking on the other hand is a bit of a struggle, but there is a garage if needed.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Zaap Kitchen is easily one of the best Lao and Thai restaurants in DFW. The flavors are incredibly authentic, fresh, and packed with the perfect balance of sweet, savory, tangy, and spicy. The papaya salad, crispy Zaap wings, and pad thai were absolute standouts, and every dish arrived fresh and full of flavor. What makes Zaap special is that it introduces diners to authentic Lao cuisine while also offering popular Thai favorites. The portions are generous, the ingredients taste fresh, and the service is always friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is casual, clean, and welcoming, making it a great spot for both quick lunches and dinner with friends or family. If you’re looking for bold Southeast Asian flavors and want something beyond the typical Thai restaurant experience, Zaap Kitchen is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back to try more from the menu.

I was craving something spicy and decided to try ZAPP Kitchen after seeing their strong Google reviews. I ordered the shrimp basil fried rice and the chicken basil fried rice, and both hit exactly what I was looking for. The flavor was bold, properly spicy, and tasted like authentic Thai cooking rather than toned-down, generic takeout. If you’re craving real Thai food, this place is absolutely worth a visit.
