Zama Massage Therapeutic Spa is a day spa in Portland, OR, at 2149 NE Broadway, Portland, OR 97232. It offers massage and skin-focused treatments in a setting customers describe as warm, welcoming, and relaxing. With a 4.7 rating across 567 reviews, the spa is a local option for people seeking a professional, attentive experience, whether they are booking a massage or visiting an aesthetician. Zama is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., giving guests a broad range of times to plan a visit.

Massage is a central part of the experience, and customer feedback mentions deep tissue sessions in particular. Reviewers describe skilled therapists who listen to their needs, adjust pressure, and check in during treatment. One guest appreciated a two-hour deep tissue massage that focused on areas of pain and used pressure that felt right; another noted that a therapist checked throughout the session to keep the pressure comfortable. These details point to a thoughtful approach to massage, especially for guests who want to communicate preferences or focus on areas of tension.

The spa also provides aesthetician services. Julie is singled out by returning clients for remembering how sensitive skin responded to earlier treatments and adjusting subsequent visits accordingly. That personal attention may appeal to guests looking for a skin treatment tailored to their needs, as well as those who value continuity with a provider. Reviews describe Julie as warm and caring, and the overall environment as inviting. For anyone considering a facial or another skin-focused service, the customer feedback suggests asking about treatment options and sharing any sensitivities or preferences before the appointment.

Guests also mention a massage and food ritual package as a luxurious experience, though the review does not detail what the package includes. The combination of massage, aesthetician care, and a calming atmosphere makes Zama suitable for people planning time for themselves, seeking relief from muscle discomfort, or choosing a spa visit as a restorative treat. Professional service and the ability to communicate about pressure stand out in customer accounts. The reported 4.7 rating from 567 reviews offers additional context when comparing Portland spas, while individual experiences and treatment preferences can differ.
