Zen Massage & Chiropractic

Zen Massage & Chiropractic is a massage therapist in Charlotte, NC, located at 1021 East Blvd, Charlotte, NC 28203. The business offers massage appointments in a setting customers describe as distinctive: two older houses in the Dilworth area, with a quaint, old-fashioned feel. Visitors mention creaky steps and vintage wallpaper upstairs as part of the atmosphere. If you prefer a sleek, modern spa, this may feel different from what you expect; if you appreciate a character-filled, historic-house setting, that setting may be part of the appeal. Zen Massage & Chiropractic has a 4.4-star rating from 607 reviews, offering prospective clients a broad range of customer perspectives to consider.

Customers describe sessions shaped around their individual needs. Reviewers say therapists ask questions before beginning and focus on areas of tension, including knots, rather than simply moving through an appointment. One client praised Precious for listening carefully, providing a personal massage, and sharing practical suggestions for staying less tense between visits. Another reviewer appreciated Olivia’s welcoming approach, explanation of what to expect, and recommendations about which services to consider next. These accounts suggest a thoughtful, communicative experience for people who want to share their preferences and discuss areas that need attention.

Several reviews also highlight the people providing the massages. Clients mention Precious, Kordell, Olivia, and Jose, with comments about kindness, attentiveness, and feeling comfortable during a first visit. A customer described leaving a session with Jose feeling relaxed and refreshed, while another appreciated that Kordell took time to work on knots. Experiences can vary, and one reviewer noted a wait before being taken back that was not reflected in the massage time. Checking appointment details directly can help set expectations for your visit.

The house setting and customer-described pricing may suit people looking for a neighborhood massage experience rather than a polished, contemporary spa environment. Reviewers have called the prices appealing, though costs and services can change, so confirm current details when booking. The personal attention described in reviews may be useful for someone seeking focused work on tense areas, a first-time massage client who values clear explanations, or a returning guest interested in ongoing relaxation. As with any appointment, communicate your comfort level and priorities with your therapist.
