Just moved to Irvine and came here on a friend’s recommendation. Left did an excellent job with my haircut! He was very patient, detail-oriented, and gave me exactly the layered cut I wanted. The layers look natural and add great volume and movement. He also took the time to teach me how to blow-dry and style my hair at home, which I really appreciated. Highly recommend Left and will definitely be coming back!

I rarely leave reviews, but MR. LEFT absolutely deserves one. From the moment I sat in his chair, I could tell that he genuinely cared about his clients and took great pride in his work. What impressed me most was the amount of time and attention he dedicated to the details that most people would never even notice. He wasn't just trying to finish a haircut and color service, he was carefully crafting every aspect of the look. The final result exceeded my expectations by a huge margin. When I finally saw the finished style in the mirror, it honestly felt like a piece of art. The layering, texture, and overall shape were incredibly well thought out and executed. I've had similar styles done at other salons before, but none of them came close to the level of detail, precision, and care that LEFT delivered. To be honest it's not easy to find someone who is this dedicated and passionate about their craft. His professionalism and commitment truly show in the final result, and I am genuinely grateful for the experience. If anything, I feel like my face doesn't do full justice to how amazing the hairstyle actually is—that's on me, not Left! The quality of his work speaks for itself. I highly recommend MR. LEFT to anyone looking for a stylist who is talented, meticulous, and truly cares about giving clients the best possible result. I'll definitely be coming back!

DO NOT COME HERE. Came in to make an appointment Wednesday evening and they said they could take me then and there so I stayed. I showed the stylist pictures of wanted I wanted and he said it could be done. Ended up staying past 2AM as they bleached my hair repeatedly, it was bleached FOUR times. I asked if it was going to be okay and he said he was a bit worried about the hair damaging and continued on. The end result was nothing like I asked. Had he said no and ended the process to protect my hair and his integrity as a stylist it would’ve been much better than drying my entire head of hair. My hair is incredibly fried to a point of no return. I was upset because I trusted the stylist with my hair and he should’ve been more self aware of his abilities as a stylist. I texted them today (Saturday) they said they could do a treatment and fix the color, again sent them pictures. They said they could do it. I ended up walking out with BLUE/GREEN/GRAY patchy and fried hair. Unbelievable!!!! They didn’t even give me a full refund and only refunded me $300 out of $600. Leaving me footing the bill of $300 for fried multicolor hair! DO NOT COME HERE! First pic is of my hair when I walked in, second what I asked for. Granted most hair stylist would’ve recommended more than one session but he was adamant about doing it in one sitting. Third is of what I was left with and the rest of the “treatment and color fix”.

Ask for Zoe! I've always wanted to dye my hair to light gold. Every other hairstylist would say, "Your hair is too dark, it can't be that light. Or they say they will try to make that color, then the result was completely different. When I came to Zoe, I showed her a sample picture, she did exactly the color I wanted for years with two times of bleaches! Very happy with my result, all my friends I look better with the new hairstyle.

As a parent, I am extremely disappointed with this salon. My child had her hair dyed and bleached here multiple times, which has resulted in severe damage — her hair is now breaking from the middle. What is even more unacceptable is that I clearly called in advance and stated that I do NOT agree to hair extensions. However, a man who claimed to be the owner completely ignored my request, showed no regard for a parent’s decision, and was argumentative instead of being professional. This kind of irresponsible behavior is not only damaging to a child’s appearance, but also to her health. I strongly do NOT recommend this place.
