Adore Nail Lounge

Today was my first time at this salon and I absolutely loved my experience at Adore Nail Lounge. After living in Austin for four years, I can finally say I found my go-to nail salon!!💅🏾 This is definitely the only place I’ll be going from now on. Ashley did my pedicure and Mimi did my manicure, and both ladies were very nice and attentive throughout my visit. The salon itself was also very clean. I even noticed that they wiped down the seats after each guest, which I really appreciated. The atmosphere is very welcoming and professional. They also offer a 10% student discount if you show your student ID, which is a great perk. The service was definitely better than what I’m used to and honestly exceeded my expectations. I will definitely be returning.

Updating my previous review: they reached out and offered to fix the issue, which I appreciate. While it doesn’t erase my initial experience, I do value them acknowledging it. I had a gel manicure and pedicure. The pedicure was great, but unfortunately the manicure didn’t hold up. After just 4 days, the polish started lifting, likely because it was applied too close to the cuticles. Given the time and cost, I was disappointed with the result.

I adore Adore! Very clean salon, excellent service, even better results! My mom, sister, and I have been going to Henry, who is truly talented. Was very grateful for him doing my wedding nails. Have never left feeling disappointed!

So I came in on March 7th and got a full set done by Kevin, and I absolutely loved my nails. He did an amazing job. Today I called to make an appointment because I needed one nail fixed. When I called, the girl put me on hold to see if they could fit me in. When I got there, I told them I really wanted Kevin to fix my nail since he did my full set and I’m pretty picky about my nails. They told me I wasn’t guaranteed to get him, which I completely understood. However, they were very persistent about having another technician do it. When I sat down, the first lady started working on my nails, but things immediately felt off. My nails started looking completely different from how they looked when Kevin did them. They didn’t even come close to matching the shape or style I originally had. I kept trying to explain that I preferred Kevin because I’m very particular about my nails. In the middle of filing my nails, the lady suddenly got up and walked away, and then another lady came over to continue doing my nails. I honestly felt confused and even asked if I had given her an attitude or something because I didn’t understand why she suddenly left. On top of that, my nails were not done properly. She put three coats of acrylic, which made them look extremely thick. One hand is also shorter than the other, and the overall shape is uneven. They look nothing like the set I originally got done. I’m extremely dissatisfied with how my nails turned out today, especially considering how much I liked them when Kevin did them. I honestly didn’t even want to show them or say anything at the time, so I just left it alone. At this point, I’ll just wait until my next set because I know Kevin will do them right.

I’ve been coming here every 2-3 weeks since they opened for gel manicures, eyebrow waxing, and pedicures, and they’re always excellent. At this point they treat me like a bar regular: I walk in and Crystal, their lovely receptionist, says “Hey Jack! The usual?” Unless you’re doing some specialty designs or coming with a big group, they always have staff available to see walk-ins 10 minutes.
