I did see Dr. Nguyen in July 2023 and I had a wonderful experience. I was skeptical because of the area and how some people's experience at Regional Medical. I did research Dr. Nguyen before I went to see him and thought "not bad!" I was scared when I walked in but, felt better when I talked to him. It was fast and I was comfortable with him. Once I had my surgery I stayed in the hospital because of the pain and knew there was no way I was going to be able to walk up 15 stairs to my apartment. After being releases I was so scared and worried because I am a diabetic.(controlled) I was always doing everything possible to make sure I heal right and the 1st day after being released one of my wounds were leaking. I was freaking out and called after hours. He returned my call fast and reassure that I was okay and etc. After my 6wks I was worried cause I was still having issues(burning,stinging and etc) and he was awesome! Everything turned out okay! I was impressed how his care was due to alot of doctors act like your just a number these days! Not Dr. Nguyen!! I would totally go back to him again and recommend him for any Laparoscopic cholecystectomy! AWESOME SURGEON! P.S. Staff is respectful,fast and knowledgeable.

Hello Everyone, Today I would like to share with you the experience that I had with Dr. Huy Nguyen. I was diagnostic with leukemia couple years ago. It started with 3 swelling of lymph nodes on the left of my neck, therefore my family doctor referred me to Dr. Nguyen. At an appointment for a biopsy test with Dr. Nguyen, a nurse prepared for the biopsy procedure on my right neck. Since this was not the right area, I told the nurse that my lymph nodes were on the left, not on the right. The nurse told me to wait for the Dr. Nguyen to confirm. When Dr. Nguyen arrived, he got angry, and he yelled at me that there were also lymph nodes on the right. I knew my body well enough, so I told him that there weren’t any lymph nodes on the right neck. Dr. Nguyen then told me in an angry manner to go home and apply ice to the lymph nodes, and the nodes would go away. At that point, I knew that I couldn’t continue arguing with him or else I wouldn’t be treating me, so I kept myself quiet. 10 minutes later, Dr. Nguyen transferred me to the operation room where he delivered the anesthesia to prepare for the biopsy. Before he put me to sleep, I could feel the great pain from the injection . After that appointment, I was curious why I received such a great pain from the anesthesia so I asked my friends and family in the medical field and they told me that delivery anesthesia shouldn’t have been that painful. I was wondering if making me feel great pain was one way to express his anger? In the end, biopsy was done on my left side, which I had told them, and it was confirmed that I had lymph nodes on the left and none on the right side.
