We had the perfect experience working with Anna on our surprise engagement photo session. Thanks to Anna and her experience with engagement sessions the whole process ran very smoothly. Coordinating the surprise proposal while not making my partner suspicious and at the same time being sure everyone was in the right place at the right time without being able to directly communicate in the moment takes some planning. Anna scheduled a zoom call a week before the proposal and walked me through all of the details including clear instructions (with google street view screenshots and coordinates) and tips on how to position myself and my partner to get the best lighting. We absolutely love our photos. Anna really captured the emotions of the moment and also the beauty of the scenery. She really has an eye for capturing beautifully artistic shots and we are impressed by the quality of the photos. We were able to capture many awesome shots from all of our favorite spots on Stanford's campus.

Anna is incredibly talented and my fiancé and I couldn't be happier with our engagement (surprise proposal) photos - to say we love them is an understatement. From the moment we reached out, Anna was responsive and friendly. During the shoot, she made us feel at ease, even though we're not naturally comfortable in front of the camera, and captured the absolute DREAMIEST shots! Anna has a great eye for the best backdrops and locations (we did our shoot at Land's End/Sutro Baths in San Francisco). She will guide you if you don't know how to pose, while ensuring the photos look natural and not forced. Anna did an amazing job capturing all the special moments of our wedding day. Any wedding day can be quite stressful... but when Anna and her crew showed up, their calm but energetic presence immediately put both my husband and me at ease. Every interaction, from booking her photography services to receiving the final digital and print photos, was incredibly smooth. A few weeks prior to the big day, Anna scheduled a call to walk through the detailed timeline and our "must capture" shots. I had some ambitious goals given the day's rather tight schedule, but Anna made everything happen! During dinner reception, we had an opportunity to sneak off for an intimate bride and groom only photoshoot on the balcony as the sun was starting to set. Anna directed us on how to pose and made this portion of the evening so special and whimsical! If Anna is available for your wedding date, book her now!

Anna really captured what my husband and I hoped our wedding day would be like. She knew the ins and outs of SF City Hall and got stunning shots of us at the Botanical Gardens. In between all the photography, she also knew how to work with the different members of our group, going from parents to the various siblings and significant others who joined us to make sure no one was missed in our pictures. She was always on top of it with a positive attitude, making working with her a fun experience on a very busy day!

Anna's photography is incredible. She took our wedding photos and we added a portrait session after the wedding. Just one epic photo alone by Anna would've been worth the whole portrait session. She took so many amazing shots, it's hard to choose which photos we want to have printed to put up around our home. I highly recommend Anna for your wedding day or even if you simply want the best photos ever of you and your loved ones. Anna gives great direction for people to look 'natural' and not overly posed. When she notices discomfort (like being cold on a windy day and having hair blown in your face), she engages in easy conversation and keeps the photo session going. With a fairly short turnaround of a few weeks, she shared a blog post with some photos and descriptions of the wedding day. The blog makes for very easy sharing with friends/family. I was surprised about the details Anna remembered in passing conversation with us during the wedding day that she included in the blog post that added to our relationship story. Anna's attention to detail and her eye for aesthetic appeal are excellent.
