They did a really great job from the jump when I wrecked my car. Stephanie helped explain the whole process to me and kept me calm even in moments where I was really freaking out. I could tell that they really cared about getting my car done quickly as I did not have rental car coverage. I picked up my car today and it was vacuumed/clean and smelled good! My Lexus looks better than it did before I wrecked it! Thank you so much for truly caring about me and explaining everything to me!! I definitely recommend this place.

Formal Complaint Regarding AutoTech Auto Body & Collision Center's Business Practices We are submitting this complaint to address unethical and potentially unlawful behavior by AutoTech Auto Body & Collision Center. A customer of ours had her vehicle taken to AutoTech following an accident due to a no-start issue caused by a battery failure. Instead of offering a fair diagnostic process, the shop imposed excessive diagnostic and storage fees. As a result, the customer was unable to retrieve her vehicle, leading to a delinquent account and risk of repossession. AutoTech kept the vehicle for over a month without providing any notification—neither to the vehicle owner nor to us as the lienholder—about the accumulating storage fees. Under Texas law (and similar regulations in many states), a repair facility is required to notify the registered owner and lienholder via certified mail before charging ongoing storage fees. Failing to do so while continuing to hold the vehicle and increasing fees is a violation of industry regulations and basic consumer rights. Furthermore, it has come to our attention that AutoTech made false claims to the customer, stating that we sold her an unreliable vehicle. We would like to clarify that the vehicle was brought to your facility as a result of an accident, not due to any mechanical defect related to its reliability. This pattern of behavior appears predatory, misleading, and in breach of consumer protection laws. We are requesting immediate attention to this matter and reserve the right to escalate this issue to the appropriate regulatory authorities and legal counsel if necessary.

Manager could be more on top of what’s going on at her work place rather than keep having to ask questions and having an immediate answer. Regardless of any situation these things should be held upon a number 1 priority in any business. Find a solution to better control vehicles that have been sitting there over a month and just trying to pocket peoples money. Nevertheless the manager Stephanie or whomever answers the front desk like that claims she is the manager needs to have a little bit of self control with clients calling in to get more information and actually know what in the world is going on within the facility. Poor communication can lead to failure in any business, don’t make that mistake and keep all employees aware in what comes in and out of the shop. Specially when clients ask for documents regarding the diagnosis done on vehicle and not even that could be provided by your front desk lady.

If you need anything done to your car, I most definitely recommend this place. I needed a minor cosmetic part fixed on my car, and while other shops wanted to charge over $200 for it to be fixed and I already bought the correct part. Autotech used the provided parts, and they put it on. They now have a customer for life. I only wish I found them earlier when a friend's mustang needed body repair. They do body work and auto repair for foreign and domestic vehicles. My repair was minor, but they got me in and out . They were very communicative not just with me but when interacting with other customers. They were very courteous. If you need work done on your car, please come see them. From my experience, they can take care of you.
