Baklovah Bakery & Sweets is one of my favorite dessert spots in San Antonio. Their selection is incredible, offering everything from traditional baklava and ice cream to Dubai chocolate and other trendy desserts. Every visit feels like an opportunity to try something new. My personal favorite is the pistachio cake—it's incredibly fluffy, light, and packed with flavor without being overly sweet. They also have fun and unique treats like Labubu-shaped cookies and a delicious pistachio cinnamon roll that are worth trying. Beyond the desserts, the atmosphere is fantastic. During my last visit, they had a DJ playing music, creating a festive and energetic environment where families, friends, and dessert lovers were all enjoying the vibe. It felt more like a community gathering than a typical bakery visit. If you're looking for high-quality desserts, creative treats, and a fun atmosphere, Baklovah Bakery & Sweets is definitely worth a visit.

Baklovah is a place that understands high end desserts. From their presentation to the taste to the service it’s all excellent. The young lady at the register even noticed my dubai strawberries had been sitting at the ready window for a while (my phone died so I missed the text telling me to pick it up) and she, without being asked, said she would remake it because the chocolate had hardened and cooled. How sweet of her to ensure I got some fresh warm chocolate strawberries! That tells me this place really values the quality of their product. It makes me feel comfortable purchasing anything because I know the quality will be there. On top of it all their prices are reasonable and affordable. Never change Baklovah!

Very very crowded, I tried there baklava, regular as well as pistachio and it's not that great. Most of the items I bought were super sweet, actually too sweet! The service was great , patient, friendly and knowledgeable cashiers. I did ask for my spinach and feta cheese pastry to be warm up but she didn't warm it. The 1 thing I can rave about is the Gelato and the smoothies.( I had the strawberry mint smoothie 😋)It was delicious and not overly sweet!

Baklovah Bakery & Sweets has so many choices and flavors. Everything looked so tempting, and the baklava was dangerously delicious! I forgot the exact flavors I got, but I remember trying pistachio, Dubai chocolate, and one other flavor. They were all really good. Since I was hungry, I also grabbed a chocolate croissant, which was delicious as well. I forgot to ask them to heat it up, but it was still very enjoyable. On the side, I tried their ice cream, and it was honestly some of the best ice cream I’ve had in San Antonio. I believe I got pistachio, taro, and coffee on the bottom, and they were all great. At the end, I also got Turkish coffee just out of curiosity. It’s not in the picture because I purchased it after I finished my dessert. The coffee was very strong, with a unique flavor that made it fun to try. One small suggestion: the coffee was very very hot and nearly overflowed the small cup, so it might be helpful to add a "cup sleeve", use a slightly bigger cup, or offer an option to make it a bit cooler (adding an ice or two). Overall, this is definitely a cool place to hang out, especially if you enjoy sweets, coffee, and trying different flavors. Highly recommended and will be back for more!

We stumbled upon this place by chance in 2023 after having dinner next door. We’ve been coming back ever since from Houston. Their mousse and middle eastern desserts are delicious. But what has my heart is the Dubai Strawberries. I swear, the strawberries alone are so juicy and delicious. We have not been able to find any berries that come even remotely close to the quality of Baklovah’s. Makes me wonder where they get them from! They are that good. Not only that but I love how consistent they are. Every time, no matter the time of day, the portion and chocolate/kataifi ratio is always on point! And it always looks and tastes the same. We never feel like they skimp on size portion. It can sometimes be difficult making sure food quality remains consistent so kudos to whomever leads the team, ensuring the quality isn’t lacking ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The staff is always so friendly and polite too!
