Bay Fair Auto Repair

I started using Bay Fair Auto after family recommended BFA Mahani in 2012. I took my vehicle & a water pump i purchased from a parts house. He told me to return the water pump he WON'T warrantee the part unless he gets it from dealer. His cost was $100 cheaper & he did NOT mark it up like shops do. Iwill continue to use this shop until Mahani no longer owned it.

***HE NEVER REPLACED MY OXYGEN SENSORS*** I WILL TAKE THIS DOWN IF I GET MY REFUND BACK. EDITED 9/26/22 after I found a trustworthy honest mechanic I am livid. This mechanic only wiped the wires outside to make it look new. He even told me not to worry about oxygen sensors until I get a smog check. Hence the lights were still on. I even came back to ask why the light is still on and he kept saying I don't know a lot. And, I don't know much about cars, but even I knew that was a bad idea. I went to a different mechanic, and he replaced the parts in front of me, educated me and said there's no way this Manny guy ever replaced my o2 sensors. He SCAMMED ME. I am not sure if I can trust this mechanic anymore. I had my o2 sensor replaced (bank 1, sensor 3). The engine check light is still on, even though he warned me. He said it could be the wiring, or it could be something else. So he said he would order me the parts, but would not tell me what the name of the part or the code. He kept saying "I don't know". I questioned him, how do you know which part to order if you don't know the part number? He was about to charge me $$$ for something he doesn't know the part number for?

Mahoney is the best. He is honest and does not over price. My family has gone to him for all their car service needs!

Mahani does an excellent job on cars. I've been bringing my Lincolns to him for years and he always fixes the issue and notifies me of potential things to keep an eye out for in the future. My first experience with him was an excellent one; another mechanic told me that my WHOLE DIFFERENTIAL was bad when I was trying to solve the mystery "dookdookdookdook" sound that I was hearing in the rear passenger side of the vehicle. I knew that it had something to do with the either the axle, bearing, or caliper because it changed pace with the speed in which I was going. It was a low sound, too, one you wouldn't notice unless you were driving the vehicle every day. An yet another mechanic tried to tell me it was warped rotors - finally a friend recommended Mahani, and right away he knew that the bearing was loose around the bearing race. Fixed it for me, replaced my axle and cleaned up the underside of the car so that next time I go underneath I could see other parts I needed to keep an eye on. He also helped me chase down I think 5 oil leaks - all of them sealed up and clean when he was done with them. Even right down to the transmission gear shifter seal - a tiny O-ring seal at the bottom of the gear shifter on the bottom of the car. A tiny leak, but he found it. I recommend him for all your repair needs.

Honest and Fair. My BMW had worn out wheel bearings which was making an annoying rotating noise. Went to Bay Fair Auto Repair and they ordered the part and fixed it right then and there. It was pretty amazing. No more annoying noise. It was really cheap compared to a BMW dealer quote. Thanks guys!
