I’ve been coming to this beauty supply store for years, but this was honestly one of the most uncomfortable experiences I’ve had there. From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was being watched and followed throughout the store. There were three employees present—two men and one woman—and no one acknowledged me or offered any assistance until it was time to check out. I understand that stores have security concerns, but as a customer, I should not have to feel uncomfortable or like I’m being monitored while shopping. What made the experience even more disappointing is that they didn’t have the main item I came in looking for: a sit-under hair dryer. For a beauty supply store serving a heavily populated neighborhood, I expected a better selection of basic beauty and hair-care equipment. I did find some of the things I needed, which is why I’m giving two stars instead of one. But customer service matters. I don’t want to spend my money somewhere where I feel ignored throughout my shopping experience and only acknowledged when it’s time to take my payment. I’ve supported this business for years, but after this visit, I’m seriously questioning whether I’ll be back. There are plenty of other places where I can spend my money and feel welcomed and respected as a customer.

I appreciate this business because I needed wigs for my moms chemotherapy. One neg review was from someone who was mad because their children couldnt spray out some of the product in a bottle that others will end up buying (less of). When I was a teen, I would get upset about that but I am an adult and I wouldnt want to buy a bottle that has less because some kids sprayed it out. Another thing, the location is bad, and its next to an abandoned building so they will always suffer bad ratings from that, I dont like the location but they separated the store into 3 shops, one for Wigs, one for Extensions, and one for Hair Products so its not a mess, you know how to find what you need.

I love all three stores I use one mostly to get my hair for braids and I go get my hair done every month. Then I go to supply shop to get my hair shower caps and gel and whatever type of supplies I need, I don’t wear wigs so I never use that store. . Never no issues or complaints. I come and go a happy customer every time.

Beauty supply market. This is the 2025 I will not be disrespected and I don't have to be disrespected. I went into the beauty supply market with my 6yr old daughter and my son. My daughter is very much involved in her hair care. She picks up a bottle starts to smell it and starts to pump it. This barely 20 something year old employee is going to say "no don't do that, thats for customers that are buying it" I said wait a minute we are those customers, and my daughter knows very much what she's doing" then I said " you know what kids let's go because they clearly don't need my business." From a customer stand point just rude, from a black woman's stand point I'm livid because I am your customer base you don't talk to people that you use to make your living.That's like biting the hand that feeds you 😒. We need more black owned beauty supply businesses. I could say she represents the whole Asian culture and their view of black people the same way they love to judge us by the actions of a few. I could say so much more but I will just never do business there.
