I originally found Bich Nga Hair Salon while searching for haircuts under $50 and decided to walk in without an appointment. Huong was able to fit me in right away, and she was incredibly kind, fast, and efficient. It had been two years since my last haircut, and she carefully removed all the damaged ends while still keeping my hair looking healthy and fresh. The wash, cut, and blowout all came out beautifully. Everything here is very responsibly priced, which is rare to find. My full service was under $50 including tip, and the quality was better than salons that charge much more. I’ve gone back a few more times since then, including for my university graduation and ring ceremony. I had an updo done by Violet (Hoa‑Dao), and she did an amazing job as well. The style held up perfectly, looked elegant in photos, and she made the whole process feel easy and comfortable. Both Huong and Violet are talented, welcoming, and genuinely care about their clients. Great service, great pricing, and consistently great results. Highly recommend.

Wash, layered cut, and blow dry for an incredibly affordable price. My stylist was very detailed and cut my hair with care. I can’t wait to come back!!

I wanted a hush cut look and the stylist was able to replicate it. It was my first time going to a new hair stylist and in a new city, so I was anxious. But I’m happy with how it turned out! The women’s haircut was $35 cash which is a great affordable price, if not cheap compared to the hair salons around here.

I always enjoy every visit here. The ladies who work at this shop are all incredibly welcoming and kind. Finding a reliable and affordable place in downtown can be tough, especially with so many modern barbers charging outrageous prices for the same service. That’s why I always come here and ask for Ms. Huong. She does a fantastic job every time. A quality haircut with a wash in between, all for under $20? You really can’t beat that. Highly recommend!

Cash only. I walked in with no appointment on a Friday and they were able to accommodate me (although I recommend making an appointment because they do get busy). Violet looked at a few pictures of what I wanted and had her own suggestions based on my hair thickness and desired length. She made sure to get my approval for how much to cut beforehand and I'm happy about the outcome. I would recommend this place to someone who wants a no-fuss haircut and doesn't mind not having it styled afterward. I paid $40 (the cut was only $25) but I tipped more for services and the fact that I had to leave and come back to bring cash. Don't forget the cash only part! Pics are without any styling (I'm lazy).
