Phenomenal hair cut and color by Stan the Man!! LOVE Bishops! So happy I took a chance on a place I’ve never been to! The vibe is so chill and friendly. Got a bit busy but Dawn stepped in to rinse and blow dry my hair. LOVE the teamwork. Wish I could give them 10 stars! Try them, you will not be sorry.

I wanted to give an updated photo FIFTEEN MONTHS later on how my DESTROYED/OVER TEXTURIZED/WIREY/PUFFY/KINKY BANGS look like from a bang trim by Tori. Where my finger is pointing is how MUCH longer I have to go until my DESTROYED bangs have to grow out, 3 MORE inches to go. Do you have ANY idea how hard these have been to style the past 15 MONTHS and counting...Not to mention Tori has NEVER reached out to me, not ONCE. OVER TEXTURIZING bangs removes TOO MUCH internal weight, DESTROYING the hairs' natural structure. Causing PERMANENT looking KINKS that will take me 2 YEARS to grow out. A simple bang trim should NEVER produce this level of structural damage!! I showed Tori 3 photos of how I wear my bangs, one of them is below. I specifically told Tori that this is the most IMPORTANT part of my hair, and whatever she DOES, do NOT give me Betty Boop bangs. That's EXACTLY what she DID. ALL she had to DO was trim a little off the ends of my EXISTING beautiful bangs. Instead, she took my bangs to the back of my head, WACK WACK WACK and cut them into little frail/sparse/shredded bangs. You DONT cut bangs from the back of the head. EVER!! I included the 6 months and 6-week photo of how AWFUL this experience has been for me!! It turns out not only did she butcher my bangs with razor scissors, but a professional also told me that she OVER TEXTURIZED my bangs. Which left me with KINKY/WIREY/FRAIL/DESTROYED bangs.

Destiny is an amazing hairstylist! I've had my hair done twice by her and she nailed the look I was going for both times (I got so many compliments on the spiderweb undercut she gave me 🥳)! I stopped going to hair salons because the hair stylists would never listen to what I wanted for my hair, so I started cutting my own hair at home. During my first visit with Destiny, she fixed years worth of uneven hair cuts and restored my faith in going to hair salons 🥺 She was super attentive during both of my visits – willing to work with the goal I had and what she could do to feasibly accomplish it – and was incredibly helpful with educating me on how to maintain my hair in between cuts. She's also a lovely person to chat with while you're getting your hair done 🥰 Destiny's the only person I trust my hair with, because I know I'm in good hands when I'm with her ❤️

Do not go to this place! Turned away without ANY prior notice. I walked in at 10:07am for a 10:00am and was told I could not be seen and cancelled my appointment because apparently they have an unclear 7 minute policy that they NEVER was specified at all during the appointment booking process. This 7 minute policy was never mentioned until I walked in the store and was told I could not be serviced. Also worth it to note it was right at the 7 minute mark. If you enforce a strict policy, you should at least make the effort to portray the policy at ANY point before the service, which was not done here. This attempt was cancelled in bad faith, to say the least. I drove 20 minutes there for a haircut and was turned away due to this unclear policy. I spoke with Amy and she admitted that this reminder should have been provided before the appointment and admitted it was a mistake on Bishops’ end. Still, nothing was done to make up for this mistake. I am very disappointed at this service, I will not be returning again because a customer is clearly not valued here. *I have provided pictures of the appointment details, and how NO mention of the 7 minute grace period was mentioned* It is also interesting to note that I was turned away right at the 7 minute period mark, and there were no customers in the store. I checked back in the store at 10:25am and it was empty with two stylists at the register. EDIT: I was told by Amy that the owner would contact me with a resolution since this issue was clearly the Fault of Bishops Cuts. However, I was never contacted by the owner, or any follow up. I actually sent them an email on 12/10 to let them know of this issue and possible solutions but did not receive a response. I will never return to this location unless a tangible attempt at fixing this issue has been made, which has not despite ample opportunity and time. UPDATE: a few months have passed from my issue. I haven’t returned to this location due to not receiving any follow up despite an attempt or two to make this experience known to ownership. I guess if you have experience a problem due to their operations, don’t bother bringing it up with management as they don’t care. My original issue has been left the way it is and has cost me gas, time, no haircut, and not even a response due to an issue that is completely the store’s fault.

Incredible service, I only had to wait a little bit before getting my haircut. The haircut itself is incredible and perfect for what I wanted. The atmosphere as well was so chill and comfortable. 10/10 super peak, I will be going back for another haircut in a few months, and you should book a haircut with then aswell 😼
