Bobby Mack & Co Hair Studio

Mackenzi has done my hair twice now, and i am always so happy with the results! the salon is so beautiful and clean, and the staff are all very sweet. i tend to be indecisive about exactly what i want color-wise, and not always sure what would look best with my skin tone/face shape etc. i really appreciate that Mackenzi takes the time to look over any inspiration pictures i bring and offers her professional insight to help me decide how to move forward. happy to have found this salon and highly recommend! :-)

Bobby Mack saved me after a haircut gone awry with a stylist at another salon last week. I had very low expectations for a corrective cut because i knew there were some very short pieces that would be next to impossible to rectify. All I hoped for was basically to have the bottom evened out (it was about two inches longer on the right side than the left, and the layers were all over the place, completely asymmetrical—it looked like someone cut it with their eyes closed and one hand tied behind their back) so I could wear it half up while growing it out. I did not expect to have truly wearable hair for a few months. Bobby, illustrious Bobby, somehow cobbled together a very adorable style with a very challenging starting canvas. This man is really using his gifts to work miracles out here. It was not your mess to clean up, Bobby, and you graciously helped me anyway. He was incredibly professional—didn’t say a mean or critical thing about the person who did the original cut, and just focused on looking forward to getting me back on track. Thank you for helping me look normal and feel good before a big event next week. You are lovely, and so is everyone I encountered in your beautiful salon. For other people coming for the first time: bring cash (or debit card since they have an ATM) for tips. I’m used to venmoing tips so I was unprepared!

I absolutely LOVE Bobby Mack & Co, and after years of living in other cities, I am SO glad to finally be near them! Mackenzi does my hair and not only is she an incredible stylist, she is also an amazing person. She really takes the time to listen to what you want and offers suggestions and thoughtful feedback based on the vision you have. I've been coloring my hair for over 10 years, but I feel like Mackenzi is the only one who's truly gotten it right. The studio itself is beautiful and the front desk staff is friendly and professional. I highly recommend them if you live in the Philly area!

My experience with Macy at Bobby Mack was amazing! Macy is kind, talented, and super welcoming! She turned my plain dark brown hair into a lovely balayage with warm brown tones and I absolutely love it! From the moment that I stepped into the salon, Macy made sure to give me a great experience. She offered me a variety of different beverages and talked and laughed with me the whole time. Getting my hair done by Macy makes me feel like I’m hanging out with a friend the whole time. I also love that the salon has a relaxed vibe while also having a luxury feel. Thank you Macy, I love my hair!! I would highly recommend her to anyone!
