I usually don’t write reviews unless I feel genuinely compelled to. There’s absolutely a reason why this salon has a perfect 5 star rating. Ellie owns the shop and she is such a sweet lady. I got my hair cut by Matilda and she was unbelievable meticulous and knew exactly what would be best for my hair and face shape. She listened to all of my wishes and delivered all I asked for and more! As prices of everything increases in LA, I’ve never been fully happy with haircuts; to the point where I was resorting to cutting my hair at home. Matilda gave me long textured layers that were exactly what I needed, even though I had no idea this is what would suit my face best! I can’t say enough nice things. There are so many stylists in LA that charge exorbitant prices while rushing you out of their chairs with less than good outcomes. Matilda will work on your hair until she’s convinced she’s done her absolute best to HER standards. I’ll definitely be back to go blonder with Ellie (she seems to be the coloring specialist) and I can’t say enough nice things about Matilda with my haircut! Highly recommend!

My first time here with Ellie at Bom salon. She is very knowledgeable and giving suggestions while allowing you to decide what works for you. She spends a lot of time with my hair meticulously. The salon is very cute with free parking (yay). I would definitely recommend Ellie and Bom salon.

Ellie did such an amazing job turning my dry overgrown hair into glossy healthy and full of shape. 🥹 She did the style I requested and did really well referencing the photo I showed her. She is also very sweet, patient, and has great attention to detail. She also shares tips on how to take care of your hair. Not only that, her salon is very nice, clean, and honestly fun to take photos in! I’ll be coming back here on my next haircuuuut! 💗

I’ve been going to Ellie since her early days at Etude, and even through the challenges of the pandemic, she has remained my go-to stylist. Now that she is at BoM Salon, her own place the experience is better than ever! Easy schduling via the app or text. What sets Ellie apart is her incredible attention to detail. She is always accommodating and listens to what I want, but she’s also always down to experiment and try new styles whenever I feel like changing things up. A huge plus for me is her English, which makes communication seamless. If you are looking for a trendy/easy going stylist in LA who is professional, talented, and great at communicating, I highly recommend booking with Ellie at BoM!

Such an easy route to get to the salon. Bonus of the parking being right in front! Ellie is so amazing! She always delivers on any hair inspo I share with her. I am grateful that she always shared feedback and will recommend something to suit your face and your lifestyle. I am a very low maintenance girly so I always go for the digital perm. She suggested to do a hybrid of the regular and digital this time because it made sense for what I wanted. The only person I trust with my hair!
