BOSS NAILS

I was in the area and called in advance to see about pricing for a simple service. I was quoted $36 for both my nails and toes which was an acrylic nail removal of a full set and gel polish change and removal on my toes. I figured that was fair. I picked one color for both and I’ve attached both my nail inspiration which was shown to two people and what was done. My nails and toenails were uneven and my polish job was sloppy, I even vocalized that I really didn’t like them because they were uneven and the polish was bleeding. I was politely ignored. I recently broke my toenail and prior to them starting the polish change I mentioned that my right toe needed fixing but that request was negated and I did not ask for oval toe shape, my photo shown was the complete opposite. It was just assumed and once I looked down it was already done. Overall they were nice but they genuinely did not listen to any of my concerns or requests. It’s frustrating because I expressed my opinion multiple times and yet I was still left with a rushed and botched service. I don’t have the extras time to get my entire nails and toes fixed again due to this service. I was confident given they had 4.4 stars. I usually don’t even write reviews but I will not be coming back or recommending them. I would give them 1 star if I’m being genuine but I feel like that’s a bit harsh for a small business.

I came here today with my grandmother who has dementia and has never gotten her nails done. The staff immediately saw that she may need extra support and instruction and was more than accommodating. They made sure she felt special, comfortable, and taken care of. On top of that, the massage and quality of the basic pedicure was amazing!! You really get your moneys worth here and it’s very affordable. Happy to have found such a great place close to my new house!

Very relaxing pedicure experience today. I got the Volcano Spa pedi and it was a great price. This shop is a very clean, quiet and calm one, which I do appreciate. Lots of gel color options to choose from as well. Will definitely be back!!

Mimi has done my nails four times, including gel French tips, natural nail French tips, and beautiful almond-shaped sets. Every single time, they have looked flawless. Her attention to detail is incredible, and my nails always look elegant, clean, and exactly what I envisioned. The entire salon is always spotless, sanitary, and welcoming. The staff is professional, friendly, and genuinely cares about their clients. I’ve had consistently wonderful experiences, and every visit leaves me feeling refreshed, pampered, and confident. What truly sets Boss Nails apart, though, is Mimi herself. She is one of the kindest and most genuine business owners I’ve ever met. She has a quiet, caring way about her that makes every client feel valued and comfortable. Our conversations are always uplifting, and she has a way of making people feel beautiful, confident, and appreciated without even trying. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does and cares deeply about the people who walk through her door. The pedicures are fantastic as well. The team takes their time, the exfoliation is amazing, and the level of care and attention they provide is hard to find these days. It’s easy to see why Boss Nails continues to be recognized as one of Austin’s favorite nail salons. If you’re looking for beautiful nails, exceptional service, a clean and relaxing environment, and a team that truly cares about their clients, this is the place to go.
