Broth & Basil

Broth & Basil has been my go-to spot for pho and short ribs for years. I especially love the Vermicelli with Short Beef Ribs and their Pho Brisket with beef balls, which is why it's disappointing to write this review. Over the last year, I've noticed the portion sizes have steadily decreased, especially with the Vermicelli with Short Beef Ribs. What used to be a generous serving with a nice pile of short ribs has become noticeably smaller each time I order takeout. At around $17 per plate, I expect a more consistent portion size. This has been my favorite meal from my favorite restaurant, but the reduced portions have caused me to cut back on ordering as frequently as I used to. I've also noticed changes with the pho takeout experience. The pho comes with garnishes such as bean sprouts, lime, jalapeños, basil, hoisin sauce, Sriracha, and sambal chili paste, but recently I've only been receiving one small packet of each sauce. For the price customers are paying, it would be nice to receive enough garnishes and condiments to properly enjoy the entire bowl. The food itself is still good, which is why I'm giving 3 stars instead of less. However, consistency in portion sizes and takeout accompaniments is important, especially for loyal customers who order regularly. I hope management takes this feedback into consideration because I'd love to make Broth & Basil my weekly go-to again. — A longtime customer who wants to see this place succeed.

Awesome flavors + affordable prices! My favorite combo. 1000 times recommended. They have a wide variety of gluten free options. Pho broth is clear and clean! Low calories with great amount of protein. Even the carrots in the salad are good!

I figured pho was pho, but the Pho Wagyu recently proved me wrong. ​On a whim, I decided to splurge on the Wagyu Plate option, and the difference was immediate. The star of this bowl is, without a doubt, the steak. . The flavor and quality of the Wagyu elevates the entire experience, offering a melt-in-your-mouth tenderness and a deep, rich flavor. ​While the vermicelli dishes I usually order are fantastic value, the Pho Wagyu is an absolute indulgence that is worth every extra penny. This isn't just an upcharge for a name; it’s a premium dish delivered through exceptional ingredients. ​It’s now my all-time favorite item on the menu, and I doubt I’ll be going back to my old standard any time soon. If you’re a regular like I was, do yourself a favor and try the Wagyu—it’s worth breaking tradition for.

Best Thai Tea!! been coming there pretty often and it’s really good every single time! My favorite are the Pork Belly sliders! The spring rolls are very appetizing as well. We had the rice with the beef today and the beef was really juicy. We also got the Pho Wagyu which was super good the only thing is it came with some brisket which was not good it had a certain taste to it, like it was old. But i put it to the side and enjoyed the rest which was amazing. Very good deal for what you pay for.

My wife and I eat here all the time. It is honestly amazing. Broth and basil is my standard for Pho and vermicelli. I cannot recommend it more. If I could I would give them more stars. Believe it or not the wings are some of the best I've ever had. If you dont try this place you will be robbing yourself.
